Pfizer is one of the companies developing a vaccine. NZ is an early adopter of vaccines, as it has one of the best public health surveillance/pharmacovigilance systems in the world.

You don't give vaccines to people with an active infection - you give it to people reduce their risks should they develop an infection. It helps to understand the basics of what you're investing in...

Whilst he's probably correct over the i-Abra Virolens, you've got to take what Deeks says with a very large dose of scepticism. He doesn't declare his conflicts of interest (he's involved in the development of a test that's way behind everyone else) and he's had to publicly apologise for lying about the UK-RTC test.

Deeks' biggest problem is his overwhelming ego...

That was not what has been said in the various presentations. However, now that the MoU has come to an end and a new agreement is being put in place, the income distribution structure may change.

The fundamental point remains that we are part of a consortium. We will effectively remain as additional manufacturing capacity for the lead organisation (Abingdon Health) and the sales/distribution is being led and managed by CIGA on behalf of the consortium.

No - after the initial tranche, we will be manufacturing at least 25% of the tests ordered. The simple fact is, we are additional manufacturing capacity - and that's it. But it's a role that will make us money.

No - that's not how these sorts of contracts work. The £10.2m value is the expected value over the lifetime of the contract. The rest of the verbiage is around the rationale for having not gone out to tender for the contact, given that it's value exceeds the threshold for public contracts.

We need to be clear - for the UK-RTC AbC19 test, whether CE marked professional POC or MHRA-approved self-test, all sales will be undertaken by CIGA on behalf of the consortium. ODX is purely manufacturing capacity and will get paid a proportion of the sales for the tests it produces. ODX will not be selling UK-RTC tests directly.
