“ I am no expert here but my understanding is that the CDTA process is part of MDR 2002. Did Visitect not have EU CE approval that would still allow it to be sold in the UK?”
Your understanding is incorrect. CTDA (which apply only in the UJ) is in addition to the MDR (which apply across Europe).
"Endemic heed warning covid is over."
Those thinking the pandemic is over are ignorant fools.
The clue is in the name 'pandemic'... to a greater extent it's irrelevant what happens in the UK. Until Covid is tackled across the world the risk of emergent variants of concern and further waves remains. Don't mistake a government caving in to Party extremists, as a Prime Minister struggles to cling on to his job, as being representative of the scientific consensus.
The average length of a pandemic is 4-5 years - we're only just over two years into this one.
This has to be one of the weakest market responses to such good news I've seen in a long while...
"I've reached my limit this morning and sold out at a much lower profit than when the directors sold. I'm getting out of investing for a while as plans afoot to tie up much of my capital for the next few years."
Please don't got... we need some grown ups to remain.
The market is very odd at the moment. SBI have announced significantly higher than expected revenues, EBITDA and cash position at year end... and barely a flicker. Price up less than 2%.
That’s a stonker of an RNS!
That’s CE marking - not CTDA approval (which is what applies in the UK). It has also been superseded by the Avacta announcement last Monday: https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AVCT/update-on-affidx-and-detection-of-omicron-variant-x2zwsj4vf49p42n.html
Do keep up at the back.
“ Can anyone offer a link to a list of approved tests?”

"if Avacta sub standard test passed approval"
It didn't.
"1 .....windup or!!!?!"
Probably a broker's balancing trade. Not uncommon.

That's just the employees on LinkedIn.
In answer to Mathersfinger, yes ODX still has the Littleport facility. And it appeared, last time I was in the area, to be very busy indeed.
Another tweet chain highlighting the UKHSA and MHRA mismanagement of the CTDA process. No updates for almost two weeks and not a single UK owned LFT manufacturer approved to date. Please retweet for greater spread...

@TheManc
Computer909 is not a reliable or credible source. He's a paid boiler-room shill.
I'm tweeting regularly highlighting that UKHSA's and MHRA's delays are undermining public health.
... TW's boiler-room minions have obviously been ordered to do overtime.
Decision was in favour of the Good Law Project. High Court finds Government PPE ‘VIP’ lane for politically connected suppliers ‘unlawful’.
https://goodlawproject.org/update/high-court-vip-lane-ppe-unlawful/
This will work in ODX's favour.
There's a judgement due today in the Good Law Project case against the Secretary of State/DHSC. This is the 'Pestfix' case.
A decision in favour of the GLP could be beneficial to UK manufacturers of PPE and medical devices - including ODX.
"You strike me as the sort of person who enjoys a good old strangle**** in the closet. What do you gain from blowing your own trumpet every month?"
Are you suggesting he's a Tory MP?
It would be a waste of time him doing so. Anything he said would be twisted by the liars who started the placing rumours.
The Mirror had an article on delays to SureScreen tests being distributed.

More pressure on the UKHSA and MHRA - can only work in our favour, as more questions are asked publicly about the competence of these organisations.
Interesting article in the Grauniad today: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jan/11/will-covid-19-become-less-dangerous-as-it-evolves
Expert colleagues tend to agree with what is expressed in it.
