So, ECO announces $20m cash coming its way and 2 free drills and SP ends up lower after 1 trading day. Only on the LSE. NASDAQ listing would have seen this triple...
Country is Donald Ducked...
Buy trade of 9 shares and MM drops the price by 10%!
I guess they just woke up to the fact that on TSX it dropped by 10% yesterday afternoon.
You mean £4 or bust
MM's seem determined to keep this below 60p. It keeps getting close and they let algos walk it back down. I wonder why!
Eco did much the same before the 2b drill. 18p 1 year out to 45p during the drill. 50p plus post spud this time looks more than reasonable given the bigger potential in the CPR and the fact that Total are doing the drilling.
Did your mates at Aces bar tell you all that. Lol....
I hope SMS has a bazooka primed for the presentation. Seems to me only something big can break the selling here.
*move to clean up
As I read it. $8m cash to Eco on completion. Another $5m when the permits are granted and 6.5m on spud. MY take on the market reaction, or lack of it is drilling is at least 1 year way. Only impact here is $13m this year. Relatively immaterial to the SP, so no rush to pile in.
Also, I suspect will see AOI more to clean up its stake in ECO and that could be anything from purchase to sale in the market, both SP moving events. I would think this will happen reasonably quickly as they must have been discussing it for a while knowing that this was going to happen.
Maybe someone more clued up than me can say whether its possible for a shorter to take advantage of the buy back in some way such as force the price down during the course of the day and let the guy back bring it back up? Then rinse and repeat?
On the screenshot posted by NigeCo the sells shown against the Capital holding are difficult to understand. Why would they be unloading at this price sone they only reasonably recently built their position. Hence my previous question.
Any ideas?
Can someone tell me what happens on the share register to a holder when the stock is loaned out and sold by the short fund? Does the original owner show this as a sell to their holdings and then a buy when the stock is passed back?
A muted reaction. Lets hope the hordes will arrive shortly!
Anyway another penny gone like every other day. These declining pennies add up to a great deal for me....Off to stick my head in a bucket for a year or two...
I tThey get traded during the day though so UT is some sort of balancing at the average price?
Cant be right though can it given the amount they are buying back each day?
But you are right nothing is going to shift this until SMS says the market has turned. So later this year...
12m taken off the market cap in a couple of hours an the back of 200k worth of trades although some chunks being unloaded. Time for buy backs me thinks..
Mr Markets says meh...
When's mid-term? Easter? 2030?
Mr Rich needs to specify when exactly mid term is given they have now been talking about it for 2 years,
If my math is right this is now 50% down on the old money price before the last consolidation.
Look at the net debt levels vs that point and you can see why. Unless the market picks up soon this cash burning machine can get worse from here.
60p plus close?
