Priority is extending Telfer mine length. Every year SD extends the Telfer mine life increases the Greatland Gold SP. Hoping the Telfer JORC arrives in April but it will come when it comes. SD needs to convcentrate in the West Dome, the other mine extensions 8, 9, and any other nearby finds. All this will takes time and resources. Needs to build a fund for completing Havieron. Any problems with Minyari, project going to slow?

I agree about the 20%. I agree that the team SD has assembled has the status and gravitas needed to make Newmont believe they can run a mine, at the very least, thay can be trusted close the mine. Leaving a mess is something Newmont will not want. They must have enough pockets of gold for GGP. GGP will have got all the data and surveys from Newmount as part of the purchase agreement. SD and his tem know what is there. I can not beleive SD purchased an empty mine and Newmont sold him an empty mine. Newmont want GGP to succeed and that means the must be gold.

The logic is valid. I believe GGP must have been given at least 5 years of gold with enough to close it down, minimum.

Telfer is a game changer. The biggest reason their for being enough gold at Telfer is politcis. Newmount are a vast multinational corporation that have to deal with nations, unions and multiple environmental NGOs. Newmount know that their name being tarnished can have significant implications going forward. For Newmount to leave Telfer and within a year or 2 it is shutdown, 500 permanent jobs gone, regional airport closed and over a 1000 contractors let go and the mine not reinstated, I cnnot believe is the legacy they want. To do this could have serious negative affect on aquasitions or ventures going forward. Activists, unions or politicians can use the Telfer shutdown as an example of corporate greed. They will want Telfer to be a success. They will have shared as much info with GGP the location of potential gold sources. The amount remaining is pittance to Newmount but for GGP it will keep us turing over for 5, 10 years or more. The longer it rermains open the better for Newmount and when closed it is fully reinstated is a tick in its environmental tick box. For this to become a mess is not someting Newmount want.

@Bamps we have on the current plan a 3 month period were ore production at Tefer stops and ore being produced at Havieron begins. This could be pushed back depeding how the projects go. During this period we will use ore from a stock pile. The west Dome is minimum 2 years away. Do we have any other sources you know off. Maybe Shaun can give us more information.

Not sure who you are insulting. The price in the RNS and my price are not connected. My calculation is to show the potential upside for this share using the latest market price oa simillar mining company mining in the same region. It says 18p a share is not an overvaluation for GGP.

Using De Grey market capitalisation of $4.67 billion as a guide. Convert with AUSGBP of 0.5118 and devide by 13 billion shares gives GGP a price of 18p per share.

Telfer/Havieron combined is larger than De Grey.

The peak in people retiring, 4 million to retire this year, 2025, 2026 and 2027. Expect total could be 12 million. The govenrment will have to pay more out in pension payouts, money coming into pensions will reduce, taxes collected from millions will evaporate. The only solution many governements have is debt

We are getting closer to the third world were having wealth hidden from politcians so they cannot steal it is basic economics. western countries with large debt and unstable demographic populations is all good for gold, maybe not for us.

Investors are being told that Telfer, once up and running and in first 15 months, ‘could’ deliver 426,000 gold equivalent ounces at a all-in cost of USD 1,454/oz from ore already in place. Thereafter further development could produce more for longer, but maybe not in the interval before Havieron comes on line.

Assuming an achieved $2,500/oz gold price, the Telfer profit after tax in those 15 months would be US$300m compared with the latest company estimate of US$360m to get Havieron to first gold (which even on the original plan isn’t before 2028).

This is not my understanding at all. The ore at the surface was mined durung the tailings dam issues. Goingf forwards gold from this stockpile will be recovered. At the same time the miners at Telfer will continue mining. The new ore and stockpile will be milled and moved to the tailings dam. Are we really going to keep 1500 people on the books doing nothing. What I am led to believe is wrong or he has missed something.

I have used MS co pilot to list the top 5 Aussie gold producers with the SP for greatland gold for the same market capitalisation. The SP is based on 13 billion shares. If the share numbers is wrong let me know and I will repeat the list. How accurate is it, it is AI but the figures seem reasonabe. The numbers are in pounds.

The ASIC for GGP will be a lot lower than for Newmont. We have `a large stockpile that has a large amount of gold. The stockpile is already paid for by Newmont. The ASIC for the stockpile will be very low. Over the next 12 months we may extract the equivalent amount of gold again. We are talking about revenue stream of nearly $2billion. Unless we get slippage with the start date for the tailing dams. Going forward that is a lot of money for M&A's.

These numbers shown are on the high side. Companies add a charge for administration and overheads. GGP should have a much lower fees of admin costs.

A few hundred meters from 8.5mozs of gold which @ $2500 is roughly $20 billion. Newmount will mine, they may fudge it by saying it is tier 2 or some other description. They will need words to justify why they want to dispose of Havieron. They will want to get something for Havieron. Not mining and walking away does not seem like a good decision from if you are selling Telfer and Havieron.
