Started to build a stake at 302

MrC, absolutely.
I've bought Glen before and its dropped 10p+ the following day. But I was reasonably happy with my purchase price so waited and sold out on an uptrend.
This yoyos like no other so profits can be made without any permanent increase in the SP.

Your timing can rarely be perfect. A bit rich for me to say, but a little patience is required.

It is amazing how market sentiment & stock specific sentiment can reverse in a flash.
We were right last night which extended through to the first couple of hours of trading but then it changed. The SP rise stalled quite quickly and the broader market did not 'buy' into Trump's rhetoric re China trade deal.
Suddenly caution prevailed.
Not sure where this is heading but seems likely to hit 305 before 315

I see the new trading range as 305 to 325.
Each range is a nice little step up from the previous one so all in the right direction.

Also having a huge presence in DRC is a big risk

If this continues to rise then I've probably made a poor decision this morning.
I have to admit that everything is pointing towards to a continuing rise.
A dilemma for me to be sure. How much more will Glen react to Copper today/this week?

Yes, I missed the top price. Shame. Once it hit 315p/316p/317p I started to hit the sell button. Missed a better price but I'm very happy. Only bought these on Thursday so I'm very happy with the profit.
And always a sense of relief to have a better balance in portfolio. Having seen what happened to CEY this morning, this made me nervous to hold so many Glen.

Billy, did about 35. Kept them small to eek out best prices so mainly 2500 or 5000 deals. Had 151000 to unload. Back to mainly cash now. Need to offload some GVC and PFC and I will be 100% cash. Both reporting soon so will hope results will be positive.
Markets have had a good run but i see some black clouds on horizon with latest Brexit news. I could be wrong but I want to have mostly cash at end of March just in case.
Still want to trade Glen but will pick my timings carefully (famous last words as I know I won't stick to the plan).

This definitely has plenty of upside. But it tends not to do many straight lines.
As a trader it looks to have run out of momentum for now. I may buy again later if things change.
But if you are a medium term holder then you will make further gains I suspect.

This morning's rise was expected based on Copper & Trump but I'm not sure where next. We've had 2 straight excellent days so I'm playing the cautious game. Racked up enough GLEN deals this morning to break the 1000 deal mark.
And the big winner is..... HL. Tons of commission for them.

I sold the rest of mine around 316.8. I'm fully out now.

Billy, i'm already considering breaking my new cautious rule and buying more Glen tomorrow.
Like you say, I feel this could be about to spike upwards and create a new trading range.
Tomorrow could be an interesting day if Copper continues its upwards trend.
