It was a tighter margin than today.
I normally look for 1%+ but today was less. Was 89000 shares so a decent bit of capital.
But at the end of the day, a decent profit for a couple of hours.
I can't get too greedy otherwise it starts to go pearshaped.

I have played that bingo before. Problem is I'm very good at giving the bullshit in my position (international tax) as I make most of it up as it is a bit vague sometimes and no-one else in the room has a clue..

Sold the lot and booked the profit.

I guess I work on very tight margins without a fixed parameter in mind.
Markets feel a bit jittery which lowers my profit expectation.
I just sold half as insurance and may let the rest ride a bit longer.
As you say, any profit in my pocket is more comfortable than a potential profit that can disappear in a flash.

Just got back from a meeting and I'm well into the blue in Glen.
Thinking about booking a quick £1500 profit for the day.
Or will it go higher today?

I didn't like the 'I've learned a lot unlike some of you...' comment either.
The profits made over the last 11 months suggest my strategy is working just fine for me. It may be a risky strategy but it is merely different.

I've picked up a few in the 302s but this might go lower so I'm trying to be careful. But these are all good entry points sub 305. If it goes lower so be it and I will average down.

I guess I have a potential entry point sub 305p but still not sure where its going from year.
Today/tomorrow doesn't have a lot of positivity. Watch & wait me thinks.

NK, My thinking is coming round to yours, ie not comfortable to trade this week. Would like to hold over the weekend at the moment.

I'm looking for sub 305p in the morning. Not sure if we will get there as it kind depends on Geo political events such as India/Pakistan.

Scoop, it was a very friendly chat and my boss was really great about it.
What I didn't say was that my productivity has been down over the last year as I spent far too much time share trading!!.
I wanted to leave on good terms as you never know when a few one-off projects could come my way in the future if I wanted a bit of part time work.

Ken, I missed getting out last night as I was in a meeting all afternoon. But I sold my whole holding at 307p today.
I don't like the India/Pakistan tension issue so I hold absolutely everything I hold. I'm going to see what develops.
On plus side I resigned yesterday so I will be full time investor in 3 months time!

Scoop, hang in there. That's a decent holding. Give it a couple of decent days and you will be laughing all the way to the pub.

NK, I was watching closely and missed anything in 299s. To be honest 300s came and went in a flash. Best chance was in low 301s

Bruce, my feeling is that this has plateaued with 302 as the base. but we are only just above this so maybe watch it a bit more if you're thinking of buying. I will add if it falls below 302p.

We seem to have settled down after the initial fall which was slightly overdone at the start.
Now pushing north of 303 again.
For those that picked some up (which includes me) in the 300s, 301s and 302s, well done. I hoping for a modest 305 before considering bailing out.
