I stupidly have not been trading my holding for some reason. Could have sold out at 313 a couple of times over last few days. If this gets into the 312s I think I will bail and sit on the sidelines too. Get a feeling that there could be cheaper entry points over the next week or two with Brexit and US/China.

I bought yesterday but I'm staying in for a while. I probably should trade it as normal but this could move rapidly. Personally I think 320 again is not too far away so I will hold until then.

After a volatile start it seems to have settled down for the day. I can't see it going far in either direction. Would be nice to get positive news on US:China talks.

I only sold 20% at 312 and left the rest to run. BIG mistake. Should have sold the lot in the 312s.
Me thinks that you may well get your buy price over the next few days.

Totally agree. But I really like your analysis and you're right most of the time, so I do take note of it when making my decisions! But they are my decisions and you're not giving advice, just sharing your wisdom.

I've read your thoughts and I love your trend analysis. But, irrespective of this, I did do some buying today. If it does drop to the low 300s or lower then I will top up more.

I thought the drop this morning was a great buying opportunity and picked up a load around 307 -308p. Hope my decision proves right but only time will tell!

I was stupid enough to get caught out by the GVC fall a couple of weeks ago. Very annoying but I have to take the rough with the smooth. Took a big hit (£40k) on that one!

Difficult to call where Glen is going. Kind of wish I did not sell out at in the 315s earlier today. Might have been a bit premature.

There are stocks that I would be reluctant to trade at the Mo. But Glen is not one of them.
As you know Shire then Randgold made me a lot. But looking at my records I have made more from Glen since October than either of those. It is hugely tradeable and will continue to fluctuate hugely.
I've done more than 1100 deals in Glen in that time and taken a 2% profit on average. I thought it was only 1% but my profit is 1% of total volume (whcih includes both the buy & sell).
My advice (to be taken with a huge pinch of salt) is to carry on trading Glen but only if you are comfortable with the risk. As soon as you feel uncomfortable, take a break and cash up. We all miss opportunities but they keep coming and will continue to do so.
You've done well in loads of stocks and there is no reason why that should not continue. You seem to have a very sensible approach and you obviously have a very good brain - a dangerous combination ;-)

I looking for a right entry point.
Glen will be impacted to some extent by market sentiment and will be impacted by GBP:USD movements.
But Copper and other commodities are moving in the right direction.
I think Brexit is merely a distraction for GLEN and the US:China deal is much more of a game changer.
Cash is great but selective gambling is great too.
I'm sitting on £600k of gains since last April but I think there is still lots to be made with the current volatility so I'm staying invested. May turn out to be a risk too far but I now think Brexit is coming to and end soon (I no longer care how) and uncertainty turns to certainty. Fun ahead for sure. Gains and losses ahead for sure.

Ken, picked up 90k today but only 1 deal of 5k was in the 304s. I'm too old and missed the buy button for those short moments when sub 305 was available!
