Who Neobody is the latest incarnation of?? Joined lse board 4 days ago and in that time has been onto the Greatland Gold chatroom to troll it and now on to this one. Best advice is not to respond, not to give it air-time/oxygen and just greenbin it aimho!!!
Hi Bamps - thanks for your quick response and apologies I had to go out and about.
I can see everything you are saying makes sense and I agree the FS (and likely DTM quickly thereafter) will be a prominent catalyst to our SP but I also thought that just joining ASX in itself (timed to be in a rising market and that’s where I thought the MRE before year end fitted in) would lead to many Ozzie investors climbing onboard. I can see why you say II’s (whether in Oz or elsewhere) will want the FS first for derisking before investing, but doesn’t this fly in the face of Wyloo joining us already and as per Shaun an increasing number of II’s?? I’m sure you’re right that most II’s prefer the certainty around an FS but the impression I gained was that there were other potential catalysts to our SP vis a vis the long awaited MRE and us joining ASX next year, not to mention results from our other tenements. You probably know I’m a glass half full sort of chap, but genuinely I didn’t think the FS was our only catalyst for a rise in our SP. Thanks Bamps. Red
Hi Bamps - I appreciate your sentiment of trying to rein back people’s expectation but if the FS is going to be the only real catalyst for SP growth then firstly when do you expect that to land and secondly I thought Shaun was keen to release the MRE before year end to perhaps trigger an upturn in SP that might serve to join ASX in a rising market and that too should assist the SP - do you not see it that way? If not dare I say the SP has a long timeline to sit out before the FS is issued and it’s unlikely to plateau until then?? Thanks - your views always appreciated Red.
Hi Badger - I would go even further and say that even if we have really good news on the MRE the spivs (as you call them) are notorious for not rising the SP anywhere near what we expect. So as you say we should not talk up expectations only to have them crushed by those that can. There will come a time when no one will be able to stop the SP from reaching ATH’s and fingers crossed that the heavens will align to make that sooner rather than later. VGLA
Hi Ponie - sorry to hear the news about your friend - perversely I lost one of my best buddies ever exactly this time last year. Still miss him and it makes you realise that life is for living and you have to grab whatever joy you can when you can. Best wishes back to you and yours.
Can’t help feeling that today’s drop in SP feels doubly hard to swallow due to the swell of feeling that seemed to think we had turned the corner and we’re on our way back up. Well, I actually believe we still are on our way back up, but as with everything to do with investing it will not be in a pure straight line. I firmly believe the fundamentals remain sound as a pound and we are literally just waiting for the MRE3 that will confirm they are even stronger. We just have the eternal problem of having to wait it out - good things come to…….? If you’re fed up of waiting, you disinvest and then have to find another GGP/Havieron to deliver more quickly for you. I seriously wish anyone the best of luck with that!! For me, I’m a Lther that believes in Shaun, in his expertly crafted BoD, in Havieron and in our other tenements, so I am going nowhere despite days like today, despite the last 3 years. We are on the cusp of something great imho but I wish you all the very best of luck from here on in.
Hi Ponie - you have worded your concerns very rationally as expected. Do you think it is worth emailing Shaun direct in a similarly worded plea for his opinion as to whether he has any concerns that dark forces may need his attention/countering? Good luck Red.
Hey GMan and Stockraiser - I think between Ayecuramba, Owl and Brom you have the answer as to why 88E have cut Burgundy some slack. For me, I would be more concerned if Burgundy weren’t scrabbling around trying to get funds together to ensure they get their share of what is to come. Sounds very bullish to me that hopefully these professional outfits know what’s worth being part of and what’s worth baling out from. Let’s roll the flow tests and see if Burgundy made a wise decision to scrabble their funds together, irrespective of whether 88E gave them leeway to do so. VGLA true 88ers.
