I would be surprised if the SP goes anywhere much either up or down until more acquisition news is given out. Abman - seems my thoughts that this could therefore be nearer August than imminently could be closer to the mark? Still there's a lot of positivity about the latest RNS and of course news could breK anytime between now and then. I just think that with their latest personnel recruitment they will take all the time necessary to make the acquisition as transformational and right first time, that they can. This is a wait and see job IMHO and VGLA!!

Hi Abman - really as imminent as that? I was expecting to have to wait till August but happy to bow to your greater knowledge - also happy for a roar!!!

As an aside my buy was actually 5.685m NOT 5.825m so I think the entries this morning correctly show a negative 5.825m BUT the 5.685m showing as a Sell should actually show as my Buy IMHO - the games the MM's play!!

Hope I will have put a dent in the big seller having just come onboard with a 5.8m buy (not yet showing?). Been watching this share for awhile now and recognise a few names so diversifying for a punt with some Standard Life monies in my SIPP that we're going nowhere. Very good luck to us all!!

Hi EasyBrent - there's no doubt in my mind that this could go in one of 2 ways - unfavourably for equity shareholders as you predict or with IGas equity shareholders' best interests at heart. The backgrounds of the BoD's and their "Strategy and Values" suggest the latter could equally come true. I guess if you are convinced you are right, then you won't be here to comment for much longer, unless you are merely seeking to "de-ramp" for your own short term gain and unnerve enough current P.I's so they bale out. My intentions are not to "ramp" as I've been a P.I. (at much higher prices) since 2012 so merely committed to the concept of fracking for the benefit of the U.K. becoming self-sufficient for our own oil and gas resources. I'll be here till I either have to admit defeat or hopefully see IGas at the forefront of fracking. GLA.

Hi EasyBrent - not sure I agree entirely with you. The RNS states "well progressed discussions with one potential strategic investor" which is all it needs and whilst it caveats that no investment may materialise, the RNS also confirms that they have their eye on the crucial dates to prove liquidity to "enable IGas to capitalise on value accretive opportunities". Clearly the negativity that you refer to is still there, but so is the opportunity for a strategic investor to step in. Glass half empty or half full? A typical AIM dilemma, but I'm prepared to hold on again for now. VGLA and DYOR - Happy New Year!!

Hi all IGas investors - my Xmas wishes are as follows: - 1. That you all have a very Merry Xmas and a very prosperous New Year 2. That our BoD have the same specifically including sorting out their debt liabilities early in the New Year 3. That the UK Gov't continue to provide support to fracking and specifically set a target to unlock this resource in 2017 4. That IGas take pole position in fracking within the UK and hence all its shareholders are handsomely rewarded by a substantial rise in the SP throughout 2017. Most of all wishing health, wealth and happiness to all IGas investors and the BoD - have a great Xmas!!!! Redders.

I agree with Snooker147 - this share is a good medium term share. I've been in since 2012 waiting for fracking to take off in the UK like it has in the US - we need our own resources particularly post-Brexit, so when this is realised IGas will be well placed to make significant gains. Invest what you can afford to and top up when you can and be prepared to sit tight on this roller coaster that's called "fracking"!! If the Yanks can do it, so can we even if only on a smaller scale - but it could still sort out the UK's energy needs for decades to come.

I can understand why some may feel the RNS was stating the obvious and not worth the paper it was written on, but I'm taking a contrary view. I think it was a message for somebody (some party). BoD's are not normally given to writing messages without having some ulterior motive. I'm hoping all will become clear soon, but this RNS had a purpose for something - we don't know what we don't know!

Hi Rogue - you're right - it's unlikely this will be a short term punt but should be worth a bit of patience. Been in since 2012 so not going to bale now and hope to plough more in once other investments cough up sooner. That's the plan anyway!!
