Hi Phron - in your illustrated case of an Aim share disappearing altogether, you also state that the shareholders did OK - can you expand on what you mean by that - were they bought out at a premium? Thanks. Just trying to collate all intel I can about the downsides on Aim particularly when I now have 3 Companies on the cusp of something big!!

Hi Dread - what made it go so wrong? Was it a pump & dump or did it gradually build to a £1 before crashing? Thanks - just interested in whether there were any tell-tale signs that afterwards made you think you could have detected the drop was coming?

Dreadman - it is good news rather than being capped and abandoned, but until the wireline logging is done we will not truly know whether oil traces found are commercial or not. We can put a tick in the first box and now we need to be able to do the same in the second box, but we are still in the game - VGLA!!

Shame on you Lamstree - which part of my post didn’t you bother to read properly before you asked me your loaded question? I’m sorry you seem to have swayed to the dark side perhaps due to a poor decision on your part, but I’ve seen plenty of your kind on GGP and 88E to be fooled in answering a question you already know the answer to. Just let those who are invested enjoy their reward and don’t begrudge it - learn from it and good luck in applying it in the future.

To all true EUA holders - you deserve all the good coming your way. I’m a GGP/88E’er at heart but had a small dabble in EUA at 30p and will be happy just to double my money here. I know the trials and tribulations of investing and waiting for good news (got in at GGP at 1.28p and 88E at 2.77p so seeing all sides of the coin with these, but hope we get the sort of good news that you have just received). Congrats and enjoy - it’s very rare on Aim so pat yourselves on the back!!!

Your relentless and continuous support, research, unbiased comment and polite response to all (though some not deserving it) has been commendable. Hi Jof - thanks for the reply - so if you are right and that’s where OTC gets its shares, rather than by direct investment on the OTC market, then there is every chance that 88E should be positively impacted by OTC?? We know OTC finished over 2p equivalent yesterday, so by rights Aim should be close by the end of today? Kind regards.

No apology needed - we all can get unnerved and I did put a question mark on whether you were seeking out others - the trouble with sharing uncertainties is that it can open the floodgates and I believe what we need right now is stability and belief in the fundamentals (which only ever improve - even the Scally result was good news that enough was seen NOT to abandon, but to take the hints to focus drill elsewhere). Trying to be polite Stout but how on earth can your statement stack up - on that basis the SP never goes up - laws of economics??

You’re in great company Sharebug - our mentor Gervaise last bought 500,000 shares at 22.4p and this is a man who knows GGP inside out and is an Accountant to boot (Accountants not normally given to frivolous speculation). So is this current SP a fair reflection of where experts believe it should be (e.g. Gervaise, Berenberg, Hannam & Partners and the latest plaudits (not experts imho) even the Motley Fool). So whilst the likes of Knocky are unnerved and seek to share that to locate others who will join in on his negativity? I think I prefer to stay long and strong and NOT sell which adds to the unnecessary downward spiral. Good luck to all Greatlanders, but if we don’t sell, the big boys can’t buy and the spiral downwards has to reverse.

Jof - can I be thick, but if OTC is just a trading exchange and not an official market, then don’t you have to be on OTC to benefit from any huge price surges such as Zoetic? Do you know if the 88E activity on OTC would have any impact on our Aim market? My instinct is not, other than encouraging more investors on Aim who have seen the activity in the US on OTC - happy to be corrected by anyone?? Many thanks.
