Hi Bamps - absolutely brilliant posts - factual and uplifting - when would we start to see these kind of revenues from our copper - is it 2-3 years after the box cut starts or as Paddy seemed to allude yesterday, could be by this year end? All very well PC but stop losses are not guaranteed to work and particularly in a falling stock where everyone wants out at the same time. You’re right to monitor drops and then decide what exit strategy to employ but often “tree shakes” are just that and used to mop up stop losses before returning the SP to where it was if not higher. There’s nothing worse than having a stop loss triggered and then not being able to get back in as the SP is higher than what it was. Not easy this investing lark, particularly on AIM!!!

Sorry x77rob but this is as about a high risk move as you could possibly make - you say you’ve disinvested from GGP (when a bounce back is due here anytime now) and you’ve invested in EUA which is based in Russia (renowned for corruption). Don’t get me wrong I have had a side dabble in EUA myself but never with any monies from GGP which I believe is considerably derisked already and even more so as the box cut drill progresses. Good luck to you but this is a very high risk strategy you are apparently embarking on.

Hi Impecunious - yes you have a great mind too!! Brokers aren’t normally accused of setting SP valuations far too high - indeed I remember them being given a fair slating for setting their valuation at just 33p when the SP was already there or above!! This has to resolve itself soon IMHO!!

See your point Prussell and I’m sure there is an element of truth in what you say, but don’t forget the Brokers who value this at a minimum of 33p and that was deemed a conservative valuation. I think some fervour was accumulating but the reaction post Scally results has to be too fervent in the opposite direction surely??

And GGP have plenty of it just waiting to be proved up. No doubt 2021 is not yet playing out as many of us would have liked/expected but when does any share go up constantly in a straight line. There are plenty of II’s and PI’s who have invested substantial amounts in GGP and are far more learned than me - would they do so expecting the SP to bomb? As you can’t unfind Gold, does this place a bottom as to how much lower this can go? Don’t let the MM games spook you, sit on your hands and be patient, this nervy time WILL pass and you will be glad when it does for the riches GGP will bestow IMHO!!! VGLA Greatland Soldiers!!!

Chat Board is back up and it’s just Google showing closing price of 24.5p - HL and LSE seem to show 25.7p so tomorrow is another day. The sells you highlight are not massive in the whole scheme of things. Stop trying to panic others!!!

All the posts I can see appear to be restricted back to 15.03 this afternoon - anyone else struggling? Also unsure on closing price - thought it went back up to 25.7p but now all I can see is 24.5p???

You’re right Sre - this might be a master stroke move to change up our CEO - I will always love Gervaise but maybe now is the time for a new man with new ideas and experience to bring to bear on GGP’s moves forward - VGLA Greatlanders!!!

No worries Duncan - we all make mistakes - it’s just I’ve read quite a few people refer to Shaun as the main man at Northern Star and whilst he would definitely have been hands on as part of the Exec Team, as we all know the CFO role is not quite CEO so I guess we hope he brings all he learnt at Northern Star into play for GGP. Also, Gervaise gave him much credit and then proceeded to invest £112k of his own money to buy 500k more GGP shares so I am more than happy with this endorsement from the great man (sorry Gervaise will always be so for me for what he has done for my finances/family - I only hope for Shaun to double the SP from y/e 2020 by y/e 2021 and he will be esteemed as a minimum). Sorry Duncan but Shaun is our new CEO not Chairman and also I believe he was CFO at Northern Star not CEO running the show, albeit definitely part of the Snr Mgt Team - better to get facts right from the start don’t you think?

Not a biggie TMT - what I mean by a comparison of ourselves as shareholders and Newcrest’s is we cannot expect/demand returns when we know we are investing in a junior explorer where some drills might come off and the most do not. Newcrest shareholders are however investing in a well established and very large mining company and can justifiably expect less risk but greater propensity towards returns. I accept your point that we all invest to make money but we have far less to hold GGP accountable for than Newcrest s/holders do with Newcrest - hope this clarifies where I am coming from.

Hi all - yesterday I posted “Gervaise the Magnificent” today is Sandeep’s turn. Why I think he is so visionary is because despite the immense pressure he must be under to perform as Newcrest’s CEO, not only from the industry itself, but also for fairly demanding shareholders (they are not like us, they actually demand returns on their investments). On top of this he has probably every junior explorer globally, on his case trying to prove theirs is the one for him (Newcrest’s money) to back to the hilt. What has he done? He has done his job properly and no doubt taken advise from his technical team to sign up to Gervaise and Calum’s berating that Havieron can reignite/reinforce Telfer. Truly a visionary step as he knows the practicality of using Telfer as long as Havieron was worth investing in. Now he is drilling in 6 months the size of half the drilling Newcrest have done in the last 2 years. Does anyone a). Doubt that Newcrest know what we have at Hav is Tier 1 and worth all their effort and b). Sandeep is a visionary in this industry - as might be expected from a CEO of Newcrest - Congrats and thanks Sandeep and Newcrest!!!!
