I think you could be the one missing the point Antigua - of course Shaun is answerable to shareholders for his actions but not to the point that he cannot make decisions he feels are for their benefit. For all we know this was a highly time sensitive requirement and our CEO (appointed to make decisions) has done what he believes is for the good of the Company. There will be time to review and assess his actions afterwards but for now let’s let him get on with seeking an advantage for us.

You could be right Matty but also it may be the following which was posted a couple of weeks ago: -
Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) said it identified two early-stage targets that are ‘lookalikes’ of the Havieron gold-copper deposit in Western Australia. They were uncovered on the Canning application and the adjacent recently-acquired Paterson South tenement.
Chief executive Shaun Day said: "These targets, which have never been drilled, are exciting opportunities situated within our expanded holdings in the Paterson district.

“Both show strong magnetic and gravity anomalies, with characteristics analogous to the magnetic and gravity signature developed over Havieron.”

Wow - so we have some news to play with and within minutes I can see a vast number of names appear on this Board that I’ve never seen before and I see many looking to accentuate the negatives of all this using headings quoting gross mistreatment of PI’s. It was just a few short days ago I was reading many complimentary comments about how Shaun was settling into his role with GGP looking more self assured and the man for the job. So in case anyone missed Shaun’s comment in the Placing RNS issued here it is again so can we at least chill until we find out what this all means for us - the gold cannot be unfound so chill peeps and good luck to all :-

Yeah Matty is right Double about drill results expected but also Speedy has pointed to the price of Gold having a potentially favourable impact on our SP and that could come at any time. Also, if SD does use his own cash to buy GGP shares, that could lift our SP as well. The best news would be us finding another mini-Hav and that could come from the Juri JV or any of our 100% owned tenements. If that wasn’t enough to get the palms sweating we have an updated MRE to drop within the next few months from our Tier 1 Havieron field - the gift that keeps on giving!!!

Maxwell - the Gordon Brown thing is easy to answer. Labour had been on a massive spending spree (remember the statement left at the Exchequer when the Conservatives took over basically saying “there’s nothing left, we’ve spent it all!!”) So Gordon Brown didn’t really believe there were better investments elsewhere, he merely cashed in any reserves he could get his hands on in order to try to balance out their ridiculous spending - he sold our gold reserves at ridiculously low prices because it was all he could access quickly without many of the electorate knowing the impact of what he had done - all imho of course!!!

Stovepipe - you come on to this Board just days ago and have the temerity and arrogance to get Bamps’ name wrong deliberately and accuse him of making rampy statements - the audacity of it!!! Before making such ignorant accusations, do your research properly. Bamps has been on here for years and in all that time he has only ever drawn his own selfless research into a qualified, considered conclusion and clearly stated it as his opinion. He does not try to sway anyone in any direction but if he feels enthusiastic about something he has worked hard to calculate or uncover, he merely shares it. Now I doubt you will offer up an apology, but in its absence I suggest you look inwardly at the statements you are making about Lthers here after only being on the Board for five minutes - why would anyone listen to your opinion when you are proving yourself so starkly inaccurate in how you have challenged Bamps? Straight in the filter bin after just days being on here - well done sonny!!

Hey Bamps - don’t let the disrupter(s) get to you. They target you as they know you are one of our linchpins, our key assets and if they can undermine or unsettle you then they hope you will disappear leaving a huge dent in this Boards facts and information. My strategy is to report or filter, whichever is appropriate but in the main to make sure I don’t get sidetracked by negativities/trolls. Just seen the following copied verbatim from Sandeep’s CEO comments for the Newcrest 2021 AGM - much achieved by Newcrest and are they happy with Havieron or what? : -
In October 2021 we also released the Havieron Stage 1 Pre-Feasibility Study which provides an exciting base for future growth at Telfer. Stage 1 of the Havieron project already meets and exceeds our internal investment hurdles and leverages the benefit of existing infrastructure and processing capacity at Telfer. The PFS is based on Ore Reserves of 14Mt and does not consider 37Mt of Inferred Mineral Resource. It is an incredible achievement that we have been able to deliver this significant project milestone within only two years of starting drilling at Havieron. We believe this is just the first stage of a bright and profitable future.
The Havieron deposit is still open in multiple directions with excellent potential to increase the scale and life of the project, and to adopt alternative, lower cost, mining methods. The drilling program continues to deliver encouraging results from the Havieron Breccia zones, creating the opportunity to lower costs with bulk mining options. In May we commenced construction of the exploration decline, which is critical to achieving our goal of first production within the next two to three years.

Freddie - we all have posters who take issue with us, but resorting to scaremongering the whole Board with a post that tries to attach GGP to an SXX scenario is NOT a reasonable way to deal with your beef with Hydro. Do you truly believe GGP linked with NCM is akin to SXX? If you do then state it as your opinion and I personally would like to know why? If it’s not, then stop behaving childishly - you have gone down in my estimation when I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.
