Thanks for your responses Doublehun and I am not trying to fall out over this - just hate to see amplified negativity from unexpected sources and believe them to be more frustration orientated which of course we all experience. At such times I just remind myself to look for the good in things and we have bags full of good things and just the right Mgt Team to leverage them imho. Havieron is far too much in the headlights for us to be lowballed and should that happen I am sure it would be counterproductive on NCM’s part as they could just open the floodgates to counter offers from competitors and a bidding war would be great for us. I also believe that if arbitration is in play that only serves to further advertise what’s at play here and may attract the attention of other predators to throw their hats into the ring? Loads of good things could happen here and I believe the bad things are gradually being derisked/eradicated. All imho and good luck to you DH and all Greatlanders!!

Come on Doublehun, I thought you were a bit better than that. Why be glass half empty when clearly Gervaise was ousted and Shaun appointed for these very challenges ahead. I’m trusting in Shaun and his ever expanding wealth of Mgt Team.

Brilliant post LB-A and hopefully clarifies once and for all the banality of trying to calculate anything to do with Hav - when will these posters like Spoonkey understand that our Lthers know what we are talking about? Spoonkey - you just don’t get it do you? This isn’t about only positive comments being acceptable. It’s about highlighting/ring fencing those that come on here either to disrupt maliciously (as they feel they missed the boat, or simply revel when the SP carries on declining) or they are so unresearched they question things that have already been addressed or conversed as you put it. Bear in mind there are Lthers that have been on this GGP Board continuously for over 5/6 years and have as good a grasp of the fundamentals at play here and/or can easily spot mischief makers. I know not or care not which category you fall into, but don’t try to make out that those of us who use green bins, or sometimes retaliate to the negative posters are the ones in the wrong. It just ain’t like that at all!!

The only sort laughing at the price we are now are your sort Aquakidd!! The sort who are highly likely uninvested and only come on the Board to either unsettle the weaker or shorter term PI’s or to revel in a dropping SP. Believe me when I say that the true Greatlanders who are highly researched and understand the fundamentals of why to invest here WILL have the last laugh!!! And what will you do then Aquakidd, you sad person? You will no doubt slope off to another share to rinse and repeat, but no richer and all the more sad. I feel a little sorry for you.

What and snatch this from under Newcrest’s nose? And what price do you think Shaun and his BoD would think substantial enough to put forward to shareholders? And finally what price do you think Lther PI’s who own a majority shareholding would accept? Or are you just playing devil’s advocate Aqua and trying to unsettle others at a low point - I think I know the answer to all of the above and you are straight in the green bin which I commend to others!!

Spratt - you are spot on there - only recently we heard that Bamps’ target SP is eye watering and Tymers has been stating at least 88p for ages and I’m pretty sure Paddy’s is substantial too. Fwiw mine starts at £1 before I believe we are achieving anywhere near fair return for a buy out and imho that would just be for Havieron, not the whole of GGP!!!

Still going with the glass half empty approach I see Knocky - my God you’re a real bundle of fun aren’t you - can I suggest a night out for you with Sharky - you’ll have a blast with depressing each other!! Meanwhile I’ve greenbinned you both as I don’t need blatant negativity in my life, just for the sake of it and commend others do the same!!

…..when GDXJ bought big and our SP shot up to 27p from 19p if my memory is correct? It showed we had something of value.
So now it looks like GDXJ have rebalanced or a shareholder has had to/decided to sell big. It happens but my point is that during all these tumultuous times the fundamentals have only improved/increased. It may take cahoonas, but holding long and strong has to be the way forward imho - you cannot unfind gold!! Good luck to us all but I believe we are being played BECAUSE what we have is so good!!

Hi GGP T&T - I’ve always thought a great comparison is between us and SOLG - they have stuffed us over the last 18 months staying stable in the 20’s and 30’s but their path to mining is less clear and less supported and in a less stable territory - so I’d sooner be patient with GGP and suffer our current disappointing SP as I am convinced we will beat off all competition when the rotund lady sings!! All imho and VGLA true Greatlanders!!!

Stumpy - that might be a brilliant strategy but of course I am slightly biased being a Lther GGP - you must dyor of course and make your own mind up but can you shed any light on why SOLG has stayed consistently in mid-20’s and 30’s whilst GGP slumped? I think the main belief here is that it is due to foul play by largely unknown party/parties but your take on SOLG’s stability versus ours might be interesting? Thanks if you’re able to respond.
