Great point Paddy and glad to see you posting your view here at least now and again. The GGPChat is great to avoid the trolls but this Board still provides for reasoned views from some - which is all useful in building pictures on where we are versus where we are going. Thanks.

Hey Zoros - SB not only has to face up to SD but also the majority PI Shareholders who as you say by and large know exactly what we have with Havieron and will NOT accept a lowball offer from NCM should they try it. Bear in mind it only comes to the Shareholders to vote upon IF Shaun and his BoD consider it a reasonable enough offer. So SB has to get his offer past SD and our BoD and then worry whether we as Shareholderx accept it. Meanwhile other competitors may swoop in with a counter offer if they feel it’s worth it to them. SB does not want to trigger a bidding war and has his own problems in persuading his own shareholders to accept more capital outlay now for promised riches (dividends) later, when they are already brassed off with the jam tomorrow approach that SB has been proliferating for awhile now. The fun has yet to begin, but if SB is serious about courting junior explorers for Hav lookalikes in the future, then he surely can’t be seen to be trying to shortchange GGP - AIMHO!!!

Hey SAS - no worries and the fact that we are all different with different needs/wants we can agree on. You and I are very similar - I waded in at 1.28p and bought 7m shares. Where we differ is that I sold 2m shares to retire early but sadly nowhere near the pinnacle of 38p!! Still, I’ve retired and still got 5m of these beauties that I intend clinging onto until production or buy-out whichever comes sooner - I would just rally hard against any perceived lowball offer - good luck buddy Red.

Sorry SAS but I think this is the first time I am disagreeing with you - to me this is about achieving true value not accepting a lower bid because our own time on this planet is running short. That just means NCM Shareholders and their next of kin see the benefits instead of GGP Shareholders and our families. We deserve every penny of true value and from my research and what I’ve seen and read from others, this is a multi-decade gift and hence to sell out now needs at least £1 in front to persuade me to budge. Good luck to us all and I hope it comes in time for us to enjoy the spoils as well as our children/grandchildren!!!

Chippy - I’m glad you know our history and I’m glad we share the same belief in SD’s abilities - anyone trusting Newmont has to be damned sure they don’t have history repeating itself. I’m willing to trust that SD will make the right calls on who we deal with in future.

Sorry Chippy I couldn’t let it pass - you say you understand Newmont nothing to do with us (yet)? - I hope they never do again!! They were the …… that walked away from us at Ernest Giles and I had just invested big style at 1.28p only for their actions decimate our SP by about 75% downwards. Luckily I and others held our ground (just as we’ve been doing over the 18-20 months) and it all swung back in our favour as I expect it to do again soon. The fundamentals have improved massively since Newmont walked but I still can’t bear hearing their name without twitching a little bit!!! VGLA true Greatlanders - cream always rises to the top!!!

Thanks StellaBob and of course if NCM do make a lowball offer, they risk counter bids coming in from potentially multiple directions!! Great fun to watch this all play out imho!!

Well said SAS and also GGP bring 25% ownership to the table whether NCM like it or not. They also know that GGP continue exploration in a resource rich territory where we own 100% acreage. If NCM get greedy and/or show disrespect to GGP who found Hav, then not only will it damage their reputation with other juniors but may also deprive them of future finds by GGP - tricky huh?

Kevin - your background should also tell you that any BoD are answerable to their shareholders. The current rumours from NCM shareholders are they are fed up with constant capital outlay now for jam tomorrow - by all accounts they want to see improved dividends now. Whether this will even compromise Biswas’s ability to pay up the $60m (albeit not as large as this once they discount the GGP borrowings) but it may well take them out of ballpark for buying the remaining 25% of Hav - particularly as GGP shareholders (and SD) will not let this go for a song. There is much to play out here and many complex elements and by no means as straightforward as you allude to. Long and strong Greatlanders!!!

Hi Doublehun - think we will have to agree to disagree on your point - Lthers by their very name have come so far, probably experienced Newmont walking away when the SP fell by 75%, the disruption of GH being replaced and admittedly him selling out. But I do not personally believe many Lthers would have sold out after seeing 38p being hit and then slipping down ever since. I think they know what the fundamentals are here and see 23 consecutive 6 weekly reports swelling the size of the resource and still open at direction and depth. So as I say, will agree to disagree but I don’t see our newer investors holding more shares than Lthers and to some extent even if they do, they too may well understand what true value of our asset represents - I hope so and good luck to us all!!!

Tymers 18.39 pm post - not sure I understand your logic here. Only this morning you were predicting 20p by next week and that 88p will be hit in time. Now you are saying our newer investors will see 15 to 20p as a great ROI - but according to you 20p will be hit by next week, so you’re effectively saying they will be happy to accept any price offered from next week onwards? You have to see this is flawed surely? Firstly Shaun and his BOD only put forward to shareholders what they view as a reasonable offer to be considered - do you think Shaun thinks like our newest investors (if indeed they think like you believe). Secondly our newer investors are unlikely to hold the greatest number of shares imho compared to those of us who invested big style in GGP when the SP was sub-tuppence, so any shareholder vote on a lowball offer (if Shaun has bothered tabling it) is more likely to be rejected by majority shareholders who know our true value. Finally, any lowball offer is likely to set the hares racing and a bidding war could easily ensue, and what would that do to the SP being offered? I am surprised you are concerned by our newer investors and haven’t thought through the above - I had you down as a clever cookie? No insult intended.

Yep Sani - that’s why I mentioned the importance of valuing the asset, not any cursory SP. Nowt so queer as folk!!

32P IS DAFT Avo because all you’ve based it on is our last best ATH - it should be based on our asset NOT price (past or present). You clearly do not understand what you’ve invested in but thankfully Shaun does and he makes the major decisions - thank goodness!!

I don’t Canary and neither does Shaun - no shareholder should like dilution and Shaun it appears agrees that we have enough shares in circulation already. Don’t forget that Shaun is the ex-FD of Northern Star so I think I prefer to trust his handling of our finances than anything you suggest.

Well after all the doom and gloom last night and this morning, I am glad we finished today 7.46% up!! Shaun’s LSE Q & A was professional and clear that he wants full value for our unique Hav discovery. Also impressive that 500+ PI’s stayed the course for the whole Q & A - speaks volumes on the level of interest and power that PI’s currently have - hold long and strong imho and the rewards will come - we are in good hands!!!
