SEEs philosophy/outlook not only is apparent in its expectation of only 25/30% DMS market share but also trickles down further, hence the low minimum contract values quoted. SEE is trapped by its own philosophy. The management may be 'whip smart' but also go around with their eyes closed. If it opened them, it would see the lack of serious competition at the moment when OEM's will decide which Tier 2 will provide its DMS for well into this decade, assuming the kit works that is. Getting them to open their eyes would be helpful!

Chris According to Semicast IF Nvidia has won Volvo, it will be its only DMS win as it's in-house solution is unsuitable for other OEM's requirements, primarily its high power consumption. From memory, and it makes sense, Semicast was also concerned about its longevity due to the power consumption literally wearing the system down.

Crowbar SEE is consistent in its stance that due to OEM's stance on monopolistic situations, it only expects to win 25-30% of the auto market. This is reflected in the 2023 breakeven date. Of the 10 new RFQ, it very conservatively only expects to win 3, in line with its long held position. At present, there is a problem with this stance in that the competition is at best limited and therefore SEE should win more than 3, and with every win over 3, the breakeven date will come in.

SEE has a tendency to lower expectations and then do it again. Maybe it will, at last, beat expectations and come clean about future guidance. I really don't believe it needed to act as extremely as it did but time will tell.

Terry By early 2020? 9 to 15 months away. All cars? Is that all new models? Must be, too much redesign otherwise. Whoever it is, SEE or Nvidia (premium brand, safety therefore not likely to be SEYE), work would have to have started already?

Crowbar ET/staystrongbro follows the same script on both the SEE and SEYE BBs. I very much doubt he/she owns shares in any company, let alone SEE or SEYE. Still, his /her latest research was only an article from 9 months ago. The previous 'research' was from two years ago and taken directly from the SEYE website. I'd be interested to know what price he /she borrowed both SEE and SEYE shares at and whether he/she is under water at present and is beginning to panic?
