Agreed Albus. It's actually quite remarkable right now there are buyers for this share - (well. one or two) at anything over 60p.
All done here. Been a great ride.
Discounted from £1.09 yes... but any buying at +0.77 right now are remnants of FOMO buying, if you consider the even GREATER discount this share price will be at several weeks from now. Just an opinion.
My apologies Phoebus - you're quite correct. Headline date was todays, looking further down the actual article was written 30th June. BlackRock etc have put in a lot of work since then.
Vodafone would be an interesting play. Looking at the SP now, & with Ex div day very soon - a drop to sub £0.70? - down to lows not seen since 1997 - should the FTSE100 have a poor same day, I really think it can. I was pleased to get in @ £0.72 (though earlier buys were higher). No panic if it does drop sub 70 - it will still remain a FTSE100 stable, (may even attract a bidder). Bidder or not -, this stock will rally to (for me) a tradeable 80).
Nice partial sell off today @ £1.26 - back in @ £1.10 - £1.15 in a couple of weeks or so..... Similar with IQE... back into them with a very possible £0.17 target..... Kr1 would be a consideration too - but am already ball's deep into them, priced @ £0.62 today - will be in excess of £0.80 December/January, nice margin for another partial sell-off.
Hey Duke! I am one of many who DO appreciate your posts & snapshot analytics. Keep it up mate.
Right on both counts Barwick. Perhaps should have worded it 'US waking today'.
Bitcoin looking ready for possible breakout over $25300 with US opening today?
Wow! BP essentially for me a buy & hold stock - never planned or expected trading opportunities on this one, unlike other stocks in my portfolio. Very pleased to have have got IN @ £3.88 - OUT @ £5.01. --- Back IN @ £4.60 - OUT again @ £5.61 this morning. Only a small holding here, so delighted to seize opportunities to accumulate. Waiting now for a re-entry point. Good luck to all the regulars here. Best regards, Red.
@Utahsaints, something you know you'd care to share us? Kind regards, Red.
LONDON — British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is creating a standalone science, innovation and technology department as part of a wide-ranging shake up of U.K. government ministries.
Michelle Donelan, who previously headed up the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has been appointed secretary of state of the new science and tech-focused ministry. DCMS loses its digital brief to focus on culture, media and sport, with Lucy Frazer taking on responsibility for the slimmed down department.
Sunak, a former hedge fund manager, has close connections to the tech sector. His father-in-law Narayana Murthy was the founder of Indian IT services giant Infosys, and Sunak spent time in Silicon Valley while living in California.
The new digital department comes at a crucial time for British tech policy, with the government's flagship Online Safety Bill making its way through the U.K. parliament, and concerns mounting about delays to a long-awaited semiconductor strategy.
The new set-up is already being welcomed by some tech lobby groups. “The creation of the new Department of Science, Innovation & Technology is good for British tech start-ups," said Dom Hallas of trade body COADEC. "There’s always been the need for a real innovation voice in Whitehall and bringing together the research and funding from BEIS with the digital policymaking experience from DCMS makes real sense."
A 20% drop after recent weeks of groundless FOMO exuberance - & there are still takers in the high 40's! Unbelievable. Stateside holders potentially set to further impact SP when they reopen tomorrow.
Now that's hopium :)
We all need to get our heads back again on after the nasty shock we've had to endure over the past months. Let's look on a (slightly) lighter, brighter situation. Assuming & hoping a lifeline relist occurs... and back on the market comes 4D Pharma. Big news! 4D opens @ a hypothetical 6p. Are you (A) ... A BUYER @ an overly battered, potentially undervalued 6p, seeking to dollar cost average down your existing holding? - or (B) ... A SELLER @ 6p 'get me the hell outta here at any price!' - Genuinely interested to hear your views guy.
Very real POSSIBILITY, Bitcoin breaks into $18000 - $18800 channel ..... today.
Dollar gonna drop now. $18000 - $18800 Bitcoin next target. NOW we'll see activity drive up on Kr1...
Wow! Bitcoin smashed through the $17600 target.
Pump or dump?
