I tried to buy @44-46 earlier and they offered 0.51. Games going on here. Some one is buying all the odds and sods at this knock down price. Wouldn't surprise me if they tried it again to scare a few more off!
Agree. worth a punt @ these .40's. got a few @45. They have a few loyal big shareholder here.
"Peter Sullivan, Chairman, commented "The Board is surprised to hear that the Plaintiffs continue to pursue their claim and maintains its opinion that the Plaintiffs' filed legal proceedings are wholly without merit." The companies have a duty to their investors to do something or to be seen to be doing something, I hope Peter is right, he sounds confident, and anyone wanting a flutter has got their opportunity now. Once this is over they can get back to sorting this company out and I think they will. GLA
Healthcare Locums plc ("HCL" or the "Company") Notice of Proceedings Following the dismissal of the proceedings in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, as previously reported, it has come to the attention of the Board of Healthcare Locums plc that proceedings have now been commenced against Healthcare Locums plc, Diane Jarvis and Alan Walker (both being previous directors of Healthcare Locums plc) in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. The proceedings have been filed by Permian Master Fund, LP; Permian Investments Partners, LP; Arundel Capital LLC; Arundel Long Fund LP; Arundel Hedge Fund LP; Privet Capital, LLC and Flinn Investments, LLC ('the Plaintiffs'). Kathleen V Bleasdale is not a party to the proceedings. It is also noted that she was released from the former proceedings in the District Court by the Plaintiffs without prior explanation or reference to the Company. The Summons and Complaint allege that Healthcare Locums plc and the named former directors made misrepresentations during 2010 concerning the Company's profitability and its accounting practices. The Summons and Complaint have not as yet been served on Healthcare Locums plc. However, the Company will update shareholders shortly. Peter Sullivan, Chairman, commented "The Board is surprised to hear that the Plaintiffs continue to pursue their claim and maintains its opinion that the Plaintiffs' filed legal proceedings are wholly without merit."
It has finished now Cagney. The result of the tribunal could take up to 2 weeks(less now). She was looking for £12M !!! HLO is worth about £20M at today’s prices of tuppence and a farthing. I would have thought some of the drop from 10p has something to do with the court cases being priced in. Could be a bit of action around here shortly me thinks? Haven't a clue which way it will go, but SP is creeping blue. If you were Kate now would you buy some shares in HLO? Hmmm!

Todays fun and games: http://www.recruiter.co.uk/news/2012/04/bleasdale-employment-tribunal-heated-exchanges-between-bleasdale-and-hcl-chairman/ " It is in recovery mode after being mortally wounded.” Sounds like a buy to me @sub 2p. Sullivan told the tribunal: “You were the chief executive, or the most senior executive, you were the one where the buck stops. It has got nothing to do with whether you are a man or a woman.” HA HA, Touche.... Kathleen V Bleasdale, Take that!
continued: In his witness statement, Liddell says: “They formed a view on what they had seen of events in 2010 and 2011 that they wanted neither Kate nor any of her present or past associates to have any further involvement with the management of the company. “Our major concern was to keep the company afloat and to persuade the banks against exercising their right to put the company into liquidation. I was right at the heart of trying to help the company survive under all the competing pressures.” Bleasdale questioned Liddell’s suitability as the disciplinary officer in her case, as a member of the board, and someone who unlike her and other executives had not been investigated by David Moffatt, HCL’s interim chief finance officer. This was an investigation, which as recruiter.co.uk reported last Wednesday, was “hurried and incomplete”, according to Bleasdale. Bleasdale also questioned Liddell’s role in contributing to a report by Diane Jarvis into a suspicious email about placings in the Middle East, as recruiter.co.uk reported last Thursday. “You were clearly tainted by the past events of the Diane Jarvis fraud,” said Bleasdale. “I don’t accept that,” said Liddell. “I did approach it with an fair and open mind.” The tribunal continues today. http://www.recruiter.co.uk/news/2012/04/bleasdale-employment-tribunal-hcl-share-suspension-was-attempt-to-protect-the-company/
