International Distributions Services plc (IDS) today announces the appointment of Martin Seidenberg as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IDS. Under the revised structure, Martin will lead the IDS Group and set its strategic direction. He will be appointing CEOs for Royal Mail and GLS responsible for operational management of the two subsidiaries in due course

Peaky, You may well be correct but they say "patience is a virtue" Seems to me that a more useful ability here is "timing" Plenty of evidence here to confirm this stock has the ability to lose value almost overnight.

Personally I think it best to stick to decisions unless it's glaringly obvious that circumstances have arisen to warrant a re-think. Best wishes with whatever you decide.

That would be nice Mary but being a reasonable guy. I would accept 400p SP short term plus a divi.

The Company had to show it's dire financial situation as one of the reasons to finally got this industrial action ceased. Even then the workforce got all they could including a % of future profits. Why should the owners not be entitled to dividends.

The Company found cash to make an offer to the workforce. I expect a dividend to be paid.

Whoever the CEO is he/she will be given a hard time once the initial niceties are done & dusted. It's a poisoned chalice.

The Team are bringing home the goodies. Keep up the good work.

Isle. I will answer the question by saying the vast amount lost due to you and colleagues taking Industrial action compounded by the increased wage bill and payouts has done shareholders no favours. But you see those as the enemy. Despite that many got involved by investing what was their life savings in the false belief that everyone involved was acting with integrity.
