Oli, Do you honestly believe the new CEO could ever see "eye to eye" with the CWU regarding the USO?
It could however possibly be achieved if the CEO was either Darren Jones or Our Del Boy.
CWU "The UK operation is capable of making a decent profit again but it's going to need the right people at the top making the right decisions but it's not going to happen overnight that's for sure.
The Communication Workers Union (CWU), which has accused Royal Mail of “waging war” on staff undertaking strikes over pay and conditions, said employees’ views must be taken into account when making any changes to the USO.
“It is absolutely vital this takes into account the views and experiences of postal workers across the UK,” said a union spokesperson. “They have witnessed the deliberate dismantling of the USO and the destruction of quality of service over a sustained period of time.
“The CWU will play a full part in the review and our position isn’t about opposing change for the sake of it but about focusing on protecting the postal services of the UK.”
