I was aware of the full content. Had they said "reconsider" rather than "consider" I would have been more optimistic of an imminent change of policy.

Let's wait and see!

Alternatively case in question If past history teaches you that the individual isn't worthy of a response simply don't.

TMS, The problem is as we found, the disagreements get so unpleasant and personal that what is supposed to be a useful exchange of views becomes so toxic that the genuine individuals don't visit.

Personally I find it best to make your point and then if they continue let them talk to the wall.

Broch regarding your comment "he deleted his account out of embarrassment" For clarity, Anger was often posting what I considered the most appalling comments imaginable. No secret that we were continually crossing swords.

However prior to closing the account he was being threatened in a credible manner. He did the sensible thing and deleted the account.

The point of my post is on returning he intended to tone it down. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and have no regrets.
