No; due to the obvious reasons of the last 4 years. You don’t even know if this was his deal, could have come from one of the sales guys or even JR.

If PR, company communications and SH value improve, along with more deals, then I’ll happily retract and give credit where it’s due.

AFC employ a lot of highly skilled scientists, experts in this industry and no doubt in their own specialist fields. I can’t help thinking that AFC and Extreme E have spent months upon months working out what the best way to run this championship. The option they have decided to go with will have been scrutinised by many, many experts across a wide range of fields, so I’m guessing it’s the right one, rather than the alternative solutions being suggested on here. It’s a little disrespectful to their expertise in my opinion.

If this is successful, then I have a feeling it will put an end to the WRC in its current format. Pretty sure these manufacturers will feel inclined to follow.

The big positive about this news is its’s not a one off press release or RNS like we’ve had before. AFC should be able to leverage a huge amount of ongoing PR from it for 18 months +, which we’ve never been able to do before. This should help support the SP over time with other news.

Racing aside, I imagine Saudi and the rest of the Emirates is a key market for a lot of AFC’s tech. Where better to display it!

The courses are tracks about 3 metres wide, running through hundreds of thousands of acres of land. Please try to have some perspective or demonstrate what wild distruction this will do.

It will certainly generate much needed income for many of these deprived areas, as well as bringing work and entertain to local people.

What’s your point, this solar thing has already been put to bed and why there’s a need for fuel cells!

I do BB, but it’s about improving the damage / viability rather than cancelling every event that involves travelling.

It’s nice to see such events being held in less wealthy areas of the world, formula 1 being the worst. I’d start there and work backwards ????

I think some people are missing the fact that while this type of motorsport isn’t hugely popular in the UK; the format they have adopt is a series of mini Dakar Rally’s.

The Dakar Rally attracts over 1 billion viewers and is a huge sport in many countries, Middle East, Far East, America and parts of Europe.

I’m looking forward to seeing them pull in to the paddock and stick their cars on to charge next to a big AFC Energy sign!

Let’s face it, one of the biggest potential markets for this company is not the UK, but the Middle East!!

Bb - If you read about what the organisers are trying to achieve with this championship, it’s about taking an exciting race to places others don’t go to, enabling people who never seen anything like this, to see it first hand. Why should it just be for the privileged or stay in one country? Where would you host it, Blackpool beach!

Not sure if this is a knock on from the ECHS, surely yesterday would have seen a bigger rise, if that was the case.

Can’t help thinkIng there’s people/traders in the know that are raising and lowering the price through their buying and selling; then happy to take a small profit.

Whether we have a finished product or not, it’s still good to remind the various industrys that we still exist and what we will have down the line. Tesla is a classic example, did PR for years before they even delivered a car, however during that time they took lots of orders and created huge demand.

Especially when it would take TUVA less than an hour to do it. Would love to know what their monthly retainer is vs media coverage gained.

All the frustration on here is around the same problems as it always has, no news, no coverage, no information, lack of transparency and definitely a lack of trust.

Regardless of the back and forth, the key point is one company choose to seize the opportunity to release a good news story (standard PR) blurb, the other (AFC) couldn’t be arsed to do anything. Which is poor given the SP needs supporting, until there is proper news / sales.

The fact we’re in a closed period prevents AFC putting out market sensitive news.

Putting out a good news story such as ITM have, is just good PR
