Interesting to see the gym group todays trading update. Revenue growth strong but they are seeing a sharp increase in utility costs. We will see this with most retail shops suffering, however boo with a more streamlined operating system will not feel half the effects of these rising costs and with cotton and freight costs falling it looks like we should see an improvement in operating margin going into 2023.

Rishi I have paper certificates so easily transferred. But like I say I wouldn’t sell for less than £1 each.

Predictions for next year looking grim for equities. Bear market looking like it will stay for a while especially if we do fall into a recession, EPS expected to fall to -11% or without a recession EPS likely to remain at 0% previously revised from 3% growth.

Nice recovery this morning…are we seeing the start of an upward trend here? Some director buys would really do us some good in the push for the 50p barrier and beyond. Here’s to a positive week!
