Just for balance I definitely do believe that there are those that would seek to disadvantage Solo given half a chance. I strongly disagree that our BOD would have a hand in it in order to get new jobs with such people. I believe the BOD have got their interests and that of the shareholders at heart. It is up to the BOD to watch our backs. Not to stab us in the back.

Boy oh boy Kejoglo are you rattled or what. Look we could all drop dead at any time also. Your now obvious fear gives me great hope. The one warning that I would give to this blog board is to take care when crossing the road as the vehicles might hit you.
In the meantime the BOD remain aligned with shareholders. I also note we have received offers which remain under discussion. If the sp were to drop further making this an even stronger buy than it already is I and I suspect a lot of other people stand ready willing and able to buy more. You must be the most bitter former Solo investor there is.
I am of the opinion that this is not really about the loss that you allegedly decided to take Kejoglo,but rather the loss that you are going to take. A nudge is as good as wink to a blind man. If you have done what I think you have done then you are screwed. There's a truck coming Kejoglo GLA.

Worth another look while we await news. (Won't please all). Lot's of financial commitments to be made (subject to Tanzanian government approval as always) , all looking very good.

It's taken many years and tens of millions of dollars from Aminex/Solo/Tullow. Lot's of drilling lot's of seismic and an incredible amount of skill and patience to make the discoveries we have in Tanzania. But this is our chance now. with the massive proven reserves we have achieved plus giip, And a field that just keeps on giving
WE HAVE EARNED OUR CHANCE. I don't think it will be taken/bled away from us. I don't think there will be a loss of chance.
I believe Tanzania want this gas. It will be produced. Next Friday if not before re; farm out news. After all these years i'm sure many of us feel that we are about to pop ! GLA.

It's great to know we have already proven reserves at N-1 and N-2. So looking forward to the early production system.

I think we are going to be alright steve58. They have agreed what they would do. If they don't do as they say there must surly be legal remedies. (I hope). I bet Aminex wish they had taken note of their and our share holders and sorted KN-1 back in the day.

To follow on with that, would it not also be the case if no licence issued that Solo oil would under international law be able to claim compensation for the Gas already proven plus an amount for giip ? Potentially well over $100 million Dollars in total for Solo's share ?
I don't know this to be the case. But it certainly would be reasonable and a logical conclusion I believe.. I just hope that our BOD and lawyers are already up to speed on these matters for their sake and ours.
Very sad that it should be going in this direction. Never thought we would be looking/discussing this sort of action even from a distance. But yes you are quite right there are LAWS to govern such repudiation of contract. Thank God for international Law imo. That is what the BOD are paid so much money for. I hope they don't repudiate. All of the years and money invested. But yes a great psychological crutch to know there is international Law. Not to mention the fact that if they should repudiate / fail to carry out their side of the contract, investment into Tanzania would take one hell of a hit. What would be the point for any company in any sector.

Well in the mean time Solo oil continue to stand ready willing and able to proceed.

Hi steve58, I have full confidence in our BOD steve. I have zero confidence in Aminex BOD and my faith/trust in the Tanzanian authorities is being tested to the limit. I am sure that us share holders will not allow any body to steal away what is rightfully ours through monetary starvation tactics. Glad our BOD have so much of their "own money" on the table. Money that was not thrown at them from the share holders of the company. But fresh new monies/faith and trust.
I have to believe that our BOD will act to protect theirs and every body else's position. Yes steve I to hope there is a plan "B". And I hope it involves protecting the assets from what appear to be carpet bagging opportunists. This has all gone on quite long enough now. They should all contact Solo once they are in a position to proceed and stop wasting our companies time and resources. This is where we get to see how good our BOD really are. I personally believe we are blessed to have them. But boy oh boy are they gonna have to watch their backs and the assets. This world is full of thieves. Come on BOD it is time to de-list from this pathetic AIM. Lets get these assets put into trust for the sole benefit of share holders until such time as the operator/Tanzanian government are ready to actually move forward with Ruvuma,.This is a ludicrous situation. The only ones ready willing and able are Solo oil. This cash bleed has gone on long enough. Just tell the lot of them to get in touch with our solicitors when they are actually ready to move forward. They are all an embarrassment. Pathetic !

I have every confidence in the assets and indeed believe that current BOD are a fantastic companion and driving force to our assets and I am of the opinion it is the new BOD that will lead us the share holders and assets to great success.
They have genuinely invested so much of their own time experience and money into Solo. The Solo BOD are of good heart and mind and totally genuine imo. I wish the same could be said about the AIM market !
It is in fact the BOD that are as much the true value of Solo as our assets. Sounds like slaver but I do believe it is their experience and connections to professional people that will see Solo move strongly forward.

I will say it how it is. I don't want Aminex as the operator of this field. They are crap incompetent untrustworthy and hire crappy rigs incapable of withstanding the enormous Gas pressures that this field produces. Get rid. If I was the Tanzanian Government so would I. Absolute bloody amateurs. Solo told them were it was how to drill / how deep / how to wash their hands and they still managed. Well the rest is history.

Sentiment is a powerful thing. I genuinely hope we get some positive sentiment. I so look forward to the day the market values our assets (that are not going anywhere in a physical sense as stated previously) at a NAV price inline with said assets. It cost so much money to be listed here and pay even a small BOD. I would just stick the lot into a trust for the sole benefit of the existing share holders. When they need some gas just contact our legal advisers. This AIM listing is just pitiful.
I have said what imo is the down side.Equally I see an upside of at least 20p-35p a share fair value.

It is a great shame Aminex got so sucked in to what is now the latest FIASCO otherwise known as the transformational farm out. Believing they would have monies coming there way. The poor unsuspecting fools. However it would seem that Jay has realised they do need to secure a real income in order to continue. Even though that will mean Solo having an income. I think the market is now factoring in the very poor performance over at Aminex and the historical carpet bagging that has gone on. Especially the payment of one million pounds for something/someone that is are quite worthless.
Without this slim chance (very) at the end of the month I can see 0.80 or even 0.60 on the cards for Solo sp.
I sincerely hope and pray that we do get this new operator at the end of the month. But I am not even remotely convinced or inclined to accept any thing that Jay has to say. I am not calling the man a liar , it is just that he is always wrong apart from when it is on his own side !

To believe/trust in anything that is said by Aminex has been proven to be greater Bullsh$te than we even see written on LSE blog boards. Do not trust. Until you see the signature. Watch your backs.

Very true cperkin. Just sit back and let the traders trade. The investors day/licence will come. The rest of it is all cabbages.

The licence will be issued at some point. Question is when. If not in 4 weeks then when ever. The assets are not going anywhere. Think that is why the trading volume is so low v shares in issue. People are only to well aware of what they own. They won't give their stock up for nicks ! Why should they these are proven assets. Plus plenty of upside still to be proven. The share price moving about will not alter the value of the underlying asset. What is is !
Hope to see the licence sooner rather than latter. But hay ho !

Solo will not go bust. At the end of the day if there is to be no further development in our Tanzania assets and the only thing ahead was continuous cash burn and starvation of death by a thousand cuts in order to try and steel away what rightfully belongs to owners/shareholders,we would surly de- list the company until such times as further development was required. The asset is not going anywhere and can be held in trust for the exclusive benefit of the share holders.. It can all be put into the hands of the companies solicitors for hibernation until the appropriate time for reactivation. At nominal cost.
I have had it put into my will that my holding cannot be sold below the minimum total figure I have set be there further dilutions or not. The only way for my shares to be sold would be if Solo were taken over.
Never envisaged having to do that but the years keep rolling on. I think we have to look beyond ourselves as anything can happen to any of us at any time. No doubt the former directors and present will have taken the same action. Some of us like them may not be around to see the project concluded. We were not spring chickens at the inception. A bit gloomy. But has to be dealt with. You do feel better once you have done it though. It's just getting around to doing it. Quite serial. The main thing is that the right people ultimately benefit from your holding should you no longer be around ! GLA. (Should be alright the assets are there. Bigger and better than ever).

A good update today I thought. The forward plan sounds very interesting and encouraging. It seems to me we need some body that can really understand the geology here. That could/would save us a lot of silly billy errors as we move forward with the plan. Nothing in this RNS about any appointments today. Hope we get some body that understands the weald.
