RE: Huge Potential3 Dec 2022 17:33
Taken from Key Facts on the Great Western mining website:
"Early production potential from tailings and stockpile material
Target range 450,000-1,250,000 oz gold"
So a target range from nearly half a million ounces to one and a quarter million ounces gold, for a micro cap explorer less than £5M Mcap.
So a quick calculation. If we go with 1,000,000 ounces, based on current gold price of $1,798
1,000,000 X $1,798 = £1.798Bn
Just to be realistic if we were to say breakeven after exploration costs, taxes and other expenses of $1,200 then just on the gold alone that's potential profit of about £600M
If as they assume that gold prices were to get back to earlier highs of around $2,100 for starters then that would be a potential £900M profit
Brian Hall who is the current chairman has a very impressive record, and has a decent shareholding (always important for me when deciding whether or not to invest in a company) and obviously sees the potential here.
