Europe set to open mostly higher on earnings, data focus6 May 2025 07:05
European markets are expected to open mostly higher Tuesday, with investors turning their attention to earnings from major firms including Ferrari, Hugo Boss, Philips, Continental, and Uniper. The session also brings a series of economic releases, including French industrial output, Spanish and Swiss unemployment change, eurozone and German services PMIs, UK services PMI, and eurozone producer price index.
The DAX increased 0.13%, the British FTSE 100 advanced 0.15% and the CAC 40 gained 0.17% at 8:00 am CET. Simultaneously, the Euro Stoxx 50 went down 0.21%.
The euro and the pound traded both flat against the greenback at 7:58 am CET, to go for $1.13194 and $1.132905, respectively.
