Shares on the major European stock market indexes traded higher in the premarket on Thursday, as the investors awaited the European Central Bank's (ECB) decision regarding the interest rates.
The sentiment was backed by optimism on Wall Street after the United States House of Representatives approved the coronavirus stimulus bill.
The DAX was up by 0.26% at 7:08 am CET, while the FTSE 100 increased by 0.24% at the same time. At 8:00 am CET, the CAC 40, in Paris, gained 0.16%. Both the euro and the pound remained unchanged versus the dollar at 7:11 am CET, changing hands at 1.19222 and 1.39287, respectively.
