Europe set to open mixed ahead of key data releases28 Nov 2025 07:05
Major European stock indexes traded mixed in premarket on Friday as investors awaited a heavy slate of economic releases. On the menu are German retail sales, German unemployment, and a trio of inflation reports from Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. Meanwhile, Italy's and Switzerland's third-quarter gross domestic product (GDP) figures are also due later in the day.
At 8:01 am CET, the DAX decreased by 0.36% as the CAC 40 gained 0.34%. At the same time, the FTSE 100 added 0.83%, while the Euro Stoxx 50 was flat.
The euro decreased by 0.11% compared to the greenback at 7:59 am CET, going for $1.15829. At the same time, the British pound lost 0.16% against the US currency, selling for $1.32168.
