The whole point is that there is still a lot of research to do on Moditope.
IMO the explanations of why things happen also shows Lindy's initial training as a biochemist. Quite often she explains why something happens in terms of biochemical processes. Moditope is the prime example of that with one biochemical process leading to another and so on.

I'm guessing here that different researchers are likely to specify their own Transgenic mouse to best fit their own particular line of research.

I think this particular mouse was for Modi1.
I'm not sure whether Lindy has specified other models in the past.

The idea as I understand it is to make the tumours as close to human tumours as possible.

Lindy specified her own transgenic mouse and they commissioned a company to produce them.

So I take this to mean that the vast majority of focus is on mhc class I as potential targets.
But cancer is very good at suppressing the expression of mhc class I.
In contrast moditope targets class II and furthermore finds a way to increase the expression. This is what appears to make moditope unique. It finds a way to present the tumour with the unexpected. Something that apparently it finds difficult to counter.

I tried Bollinger bands but I just didn't like the music so I got rid of the bands and found the plain Bollinger much more to my taste.

It just seems to me that most vaccines are focusing on neutralising antibodies whereas Scancell generates these and also activates TCells giving them high avidity TCell on multiple targets as well.
Only time will tell whether both antibodies and TCells are needed and indeed which of the 2 is more important.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that Scancell's vaccine would be more effective than the Oxford and the Imperial vaccines.

Presumably the thymus deletes high avidity TCells because there is a danger of attacking "self".
But there is no restriction when it comes to activation by dendritic cells.

It seems there is more and more evidence of the importance of TCells

I suspect they are used to working in environments that are needed to be kept very clean by law with recent experience of viral vectors and also working with live animals.
I did notice in the Sky presentation that the electron microscopes were spaced well apart from each other.
And, of course, there are no undergraduates around at the moment.

I guess it is too early to say how long immunity will last for any of these vaccines or even whether the immunity is strong enough.
I don't recall anybody measuring populations of the covid19 specific TCells so far on people vaccinated.
I know studies have taken place on levels of TCells for recovered patients.

Also, how well they will perform on older people? The age range 18-55 seems to be the norm for the trials so far.
I might be wrong on these points, so I stand to be corrected.
