I would think if that didn't apply to the present day she would be specific enough to have said 'were alive and well with no tumour at the end of the trial', but 'still alive and well' imo means right now. (Other opinions are available I'm sure)

At this point she can only say 'hopeful' - but at least with LD you get clinical honesty, not manipulative double-talk. 'Hopeful' from LD most likely translates as 'all going' well' imo.

Don't worry - he'll be back tomorrow to tell you the exact opposite and that you've misinterpreted what he said yesterday.

A lot of 'ifs', however the current timescale for covidity assumes no forced acceleration with outside help (think how the original vaccines got pushed along their timescales) So if the early covidity data is as good as we would hope, and the extension of trial to the UK is still on, it could be perfect timing for Scancell in these difficult times.

Not forgetting the needle-free administration of the vaccine. Big saving in many ways in addition to everything else.

Shows a certain level of confidence imo.

Given how many weeks the trial has been running and the urgent nature of the while thing I think it incredibly unlikely there will have been any shortage of patients. Also worth remembering the general angle and apparent motivation of Kashdog's posts.

When the RNS for Mod1 comes out it will be interesting to see if we spike or climb - three trials in action is a big turnaround from the last few years.

Given that Scancell have traditionally been very reserved in any predictions, a mention of being a billion pound company is interesting, and also that is said in the context of one shot being on goal. So take covidity as one shot, then add Modi1 and Modi2, a bit of avidimab and maybe the scib1/keytruda effort, and it looks potentially very rosy.

Seems to be a lot more effort going into promoting an argument than discussing the matter. Just my take on it.

Thanks Bob - very interesting report back. You don't turn down two avidimab offers unless you are VERY confident about sourcing funding if and when needed. Sounds like they have full confidence in the short and long term future, and scancell are calling the shots on prices so nothing will get sold off cheap - quite the opposite.
