25th Nov Operational Update Tesoro Gold Mine
Since operations began in September 2024, Boku has been crushing and sorting the accumulated stockpile of vein material generated from 46 vertical metres and 64 lateral metres of mine preparation, which amounts to approximately 30 tonnes. This vein material is expected to be collected by the processing plant in December 2024, at the same time as the first production material is transported. The grade will then be assessed by the processing plant laboratory. Based on its own sampling, Boku expects grades of 8-10 g/t Au.
23rd Dec Operational Update Tesoro Gold Mine
Further to the Company's announcement on 25 November 2024, Boku has made its first mineral sale of a batch of 42.973 tonnes of ore, with 10 tonnes produced exclusively from the "Bonanza" vein in block one. The batch had an average grade of 15.6 g/t Au and has been sold to a local gold ore processing plant in the Arequipa region.
Notably, the 10 tonnes from block 1 reached average grades of 63.6 g/t, following assay by the plant's metallurgy laboratory. These represent the highest grades yet seen in the mine.
Operational update
Boku will continue to focus on exploiting high grades at a tonnage of between 1 to 3 tonnes per day as it brings the next blocks into production and increases production accordingly.
6th Dec Acquisition Morrocota Gold Mine
Sampling from vein material recovered during the preparation stage indicates grades of up to 23.4g/t Au in the best developed ore chutes. Morrocota has stockpiled 7-9t of vein material at surface, which will be transferred to Nativo as part of the acquisition.
