I know you have invested heavily and put your money where your mouth is. This is just one of the many reasons why I value your opinions as you have a vastly superior knowledge base of the oil industry as opposed to myself. Friends of mine are invested here much more than myself and I have told them things based on your input and research that they would not have ordinarily known, of course I have told them to DYOR. I hope this pays off for all involved as this has been a long waiting game for many and when it does I hope you can retire in the knowledge that you played it right helping others along the way. Can someone please explain how to work out MCAP because I thought it was amount of shares divided by current share price? Sorry Sunday afternoon and bored so thought I would do a bit of research and finance...aren't I a lucky chappie!!

I think Falklandinvestor has been a bit out with his maths in a previous post where he stated 250mln bbl would be worth 227p, I think he missed a zero off amount of shares because I can only get it to 22.8p per share (50mln bbl / amount of shares = 218,860,000) therefore over the course of 20 years making it 1.14p per share. This would be a significant decrease in the amount Noble would offer per share. Although I do like his 2bln bbl price..nice! Sorry Falklandinvestor didn't mean to insult your intelligence as I know you have a lot to offer this BB and I myself, take everything you post with interest. Correct me if I am wrong, I would be more than happy to be!!

Tuggy thanks for the information. I am happy with the amount of oil and the volume produced per day but how does that make a 20 cent return for the investor (is that per share in a divi?) and therefore create £2.50 a share buyout. Sorry for being a pain in the a?!e but I am less educated in these things than your good self and others.

So eegbvi what is your forecast SP for summer 2016 and Falklandinvestor what is your forecast for the same period? Could you explain where you will derive your forecast from? I am already invested but maybe looking to invest further as a long term holding

So currently you are unable to give the name of the company out? I am trying to research companies that are in the Arabian Gulf area to see if I can narrow it down a bit. You seem very knowledgeable within the business and I would hope so owning that much of a company, I think you would get a lot of investors on this very BB.

That the BOD wont come out and say what is going on...An RNS is not sufficient enough to gauge their thoughts and processes. This should have been an outright buyout, maybe then people would have been happier. A lot of people have waited a long time for good news and this just seems like a kick in the teeth. Anyone agree or Disagree thoughts please.

Surely with the RNS out that leaves us more open to a takeover than before as the big fish know licenses can be bought and ARG 3D set up is second to none, this would give owners a big advantage in their quest to locate and identify big areas for drilling.
