On the risers board! Possibly for the first time since the farm out was announced...
Got exited when I saw that RNS flashing and 15% up....still its a good sign.
Yeah I'd say its good news. Wish they'd mentioned what the current debt was, kind of meaningless without knowing that? We don't owe GR anything do we? He's not been running up a tab for use of his office space or pringle jumper collection?
TW is a buffoon, no one takes him seriously. He does make some good points about JP, however those same points are made daily (hourly?) on here. I do hope whenever we get an update on the LE we will get some substantial comments from JP on how he has ran this company and on whether he considers Sound a success or a failure, the way things are now it’s looking like a pretty epic failure. He can’t explain away his past comments on golden tickets and announcing that no one loses from buying at these levels etc as ‘promoting the company’. If that’s his last comment on the matter then there will be no shortage of shareholders who will be sure to ‘promote’ his track record wherever he goes when he comes out of the woodwork to try and ‘promote’ his next ventures. He’s been awfully quiet on twitter since the dusters started arriving, funny that.
Fish, if there is one thing GR is good at (and it wouldn't surprise me if there was genuinely only one thing) it is doing placings, he could of easily got one done yesterday. What did this mysterious insider say the issue was?
I'm not denying any of that Acker, I've been stuck in this dog for a few years myself now and done my fair share of venting at the company on here. I was just pointing out that I don't really see any rampers on here any more when I check in.
Think you're reading too much into it, who are the tampers these days? This BB is full of people slating the company day in day out. It's just business as usual on the AIM casino. There's been four tiny sales this morning, a few buys and it will rise 20% again. On the plus side it wasn't pumped for a placing...
Solo Oil’s Executive Chairman Alastair Ferguson said:
“We are wholly supportive of the Operator’s proposed work programme that aims to move the JV closer to re-establishing production from the field, whilst also gaining important reservoir data that can be used for future field development. The Company believes there is good upside potential to be realised from this asset and we look forward to reviewing the final data alongside the Operator. Solo’s growth strategy is predicated on establishing sustainable cash flow and we therefore look forward to seeing production from Kiliwani North-1 back on line in due course.
“We also remain committed to realising the value of our interest in Ruvuma, but the current situation continues to reaffirm that the Board have taken the right strategic decision to diversify the business in terms of geography and asset type, and take greater control over our future.”
Woo hoo, looks like I finally chose the right time to re-invest. Lets hope for news tomorrow. This is so underpriced, if we get sign off it should fly.
Is there still time to get a drill done?
I sure hope so fjones40! Its about time! I will be refraining from ranting on this board about lack of progress though as I've sold out 2 or 3 times already only to invest again, so its my own fault at this point!
I've had another punt here (what am i thinking....) put me down for 1.2p
You'd think by now they'd know if needed one was interested in buying. If Mr golden tickets drags this out till the end of the year and doesn't have a decent offer then his already bad reputation will be shot. I know we've already made him rich but I suspect he still has future aspirations, sound (or the shareholders) will haunt him.
He'll never go voluntarily, this is his gravy train. Only plus is that the useless crook looked even more unhealthy than normal during the webinar.
If the share price keeps dropping he's not even going to be able to raise what he needs for the loan so we might be put out of our misery soon either way. Great work GR.
Not looking good here at all. Need some positive news asap, and not in the form of yet another asset.
Why on earth aren't we already flogging the ones that are sat idle? GR has spent years on RHA and Zulu and achieved feck all. He must think he's going to live to about 300 if he plans to develop any of the other assets.
