I'm looking at the holdings I've got available right now though, split half and half in a general account and a stocks and shares ISA.

I posted this morning regarding the 2025 sharesave and what effect this might have on the SP when awarded in February 2025 it didn't attract any opinion

Like the Moniker by the way you seem very similar to me in terms of holdings it would appear we are getting dragged into the "Long game" in terms of avoiding the dreaded CGT I personally I'm not married yet so the options as I see it are :

1.Move the amount of shares into a s&s ISA taking up next years allowance

2.Wait for the new ISA and move another £5k (news and rules on this pending)

3.March the Missus to the registrary office and double this allowance (hoping to get married soon so not really an option)

I Understand though this will only protect a little against future rises in the SP as CGT will be chargeable on the transactions as the shares are moved but at least future increases will be free from tax!

Just my take on it

Nettles a Sharesave scheme matures in February 2024 at RR with a huge number of employees receiving their respective shares could this be a potential time for a buy back buy the company?

These great rises in SP are giving me a slight headache I'm struggling to pick a moment when to sell some shares and re-purchase in my ISA by Yr end will there be another hold situation before the 5th/6th April or do we forsee a buy up of shares from people doing this sending the price up?

No worries T7000 has this to be done, XWB is fine other than when operated in desert type areas (Not a new problem for all carriers) but there's a fix for this also as Tufan explained it'll just take awhile for the shop visits

The fan blades aren't the problem it's the high pressure turbine blade in the "Hot Part" that's the problem they have a fix but can only implement it on shop visits so have to wait for them to come in to retrofit all new engines will get new standard

Anything over a £3.90 finish today would be nice
