Trump is expected to impose:

60% tariffs on China

10% tariffs on the rest of the world, potentially varying by country.

US oil companies will suffer way before SL does:

I think its overdone. Saudis can't operate their spending with oil below $70 a barrel. Shale will stop being profitable before SL.

Gold is more expensive now due to the value of the currency being less, Oil at $100 is probably a fair price in the future.

It could be done in parallel with SL being developed and not slip any time frames. It only takes 20-30 days per well. There are all the other targets too.

South basin isn't worth much, though. There aren't enough holes in it at the moment. It's high risk, and it won't add much to a take-out offer, imho.

If OM comes in RKH will have about £100 million, the MCAP is £300 million. So SL must be worth more than £200 million with a FID. If we don't get fireworks this year, it should indeed happen in 2026 as things start to progress.
