Erm nope their problem is the $2.8 billion of debt, doesn't matter how that was achieved, its there. No use talking out ifs and buts. There are not the operator of Zama and hold 25%, so I would think it would be the cheaper option as there is infrastructure in place already. It wont take that long to appraise Zama etc.

Each to their own, but I do. Im sure they would rather have Zama going than SL. SL is in a new basin and they are operators with no money. Zama would be a better idea and then SL because by then the balance sheet has more chance of being favorable for SL. Looks like they are struggling, this finance package looks very desperate.

FID 2018 was my understanding, could be wrong, but the point I'm making is that PMO, I think would like to kick this down the road some more. 2 years is what I would do if I were PMO, unless a farm in can be found, the $2.8 billion of debt is to much to take on anything else, especially in a new province imho

Its good for the PMO share price, but it doesn't affect their balance sheet or the $2.8 billion of dept. It has no affect on FID, which I suspect is going to be pushed back to 2019 atleast. PMO could do with several years of this oil price to turn its debt around. Even before the oil price crash they didn't have any money

You are the thick one. Oil Price doesn't affect RKH much since there are YEARS away from pumping any Oil. Risen on PI speculation of funding, that is all. This was dropping YEARS before the Oil Price crash, the farm out to PMO killed this and continues to " project sign off is imminent" absolute lies ! the Pathfinder bank news is imminent and that doesn't mean funding is sorted either. FID is end of the year, but I bet PMO would love to postpone that some more
