Exactly. We do not know, which is why I do not get excited either way - though usually on boards people look to confirm their bias. And whatever goes on, value, if achieved, will win in the end with Sig. And notified shorters, well, Ennismore seem to have had an open short since last July and beyond.

Haha. On the last few posts it could be a buy, could be a sell, could be a devious shorter going to flog them into the market over time bringing the price down - or somebody who bought some shares.
I remain optimistic, still being invested on the original premises that CD and R would see things alright through Francis and Co., coupled with the evidence of progress as per. the last trading update.

Normally, somebody apparently buying £427k worth of shares would be viewed as positive.

I should have added, their original short must really be old hat by now - and the latest is flying in the face of the trading update.

Ennismore has increased it's short position by 0.12%, and taking that day equates to £471k at Tuesday closing price. £738k was traded that day. If buying volume continues they will likely need more than they borrowed to sustain a strategy of short selling alone. We do not know Ennismore's overall position. I know nothing of Ennismore's tactics, but it may be open to conjecture that they are hedging a long position of under 3%.
