The problem here is that even though Boohoo has not committed the alleged crimes, it has what's called 'vicarious liability'. It is their responsibility to do due diligence on their supply chain, and ensure that all suppliers are fully compliant with the law. If the suppliers are not, and Boohoo can show it took all reasonable steps to ensure their suppliers' compliance, then it is not liable (as far as I understand these things).
