It what way do they not have the required funds as all the financing is now in place?

@steven49 well it's a good job they have a fixed price EPC contract with Casale and that Paraguay isn't a third world country and has one of the fastest growing economies in the world and the biggest exporter of hydroelectric power

ok, someone on the website fu. atome posted something unrelated on linkedin today and it was reposted by someone saying the idb loan had been approved. this may have alerted them and there was naff all they could do until usa came online. seems like an old fashioned **** up.

Perhaps the Comms team are all at COP and just don't have the capacity at the moment. The approval may have been bumped to next week, who knows. The IDB Invest director for I&E is moderating a panel on the 17th. Having worked in Comms & Analyst Relations for a few years, events are a complete nightmare in terms of fans and brown stuff, too many distractions, lack of internet and being kicked out of rooms. You just prioritise the important stuff and everyone else is disappointed.

FWIW - There are 3 other projects with board dates of the 11/11, only Banco Industrial SA has been updated with Approval Date, but its status is still Proposed. Hadco and Age Capital are the other two without updates.

IDB are hosting 80 events at COP 30 - I wonder if the ATOME decision was timed for this week or just coincidence?
