In my view, there's room for political chat in amongst the LLOY discourse. What is happening in the political sphere has a profound effect on banking share prices, for obvious reasons.

Have you watched Still Rocking at 60 McEnroe. If not iplayer, it's a good doc and the opening scene is very funny. He relates a story about how his father taught him how to "deal with certain situations" it's only a few lines but made me laugh !

Hi Boomer saw your post yesterday. Yeah after Rafa went out (that was bad enough) I was hoping Fed was going to win. Very close as you know and could have gone either way. Great match, I've not watched a match without moving since Rafa v Roger 2008.

Re: chatting about politics, the economy etc is relevant to banking shares, especially at this time with the turmoil of Brexit.
It seems to me the subjects are intertwined.

It's not just this board. If one says something that doesn't suit the board's flavour of the month i.e the gobby poster who thinks they know it all hahaha, the whole thread is removed. So no, there's not much point making a thoughtful comment. I think the offending post should either be removed (not the whole thread) or highlighted that it has been reported. We can make our own minds up then.

I suppose if ones being optimistic there could be an order to fill...hopefully it is! Could be that I was worried by the decline in sp others are too. Not deramping, I'll be back in when price is stable.

Thing is in politics it's not what you know...although I'm sure he's better qualified for the job than you or I! but it's who you know, bit like the BBC. All you need is a known family name and you've a job for life and so have your offspring.

Boomer, good way to keep the plebs down though isn't it. The people that can less afford the climate change measures are the one who will get hammered by them...I'm not a liberal "snowflake" type, far from it but I really think we are being corralled into a place where the most unfortunate, I'm not one of them thankfully, (but could be any one of us, illness, old age etc) will need state assistance more than ever. Not good for anyone, well, most anyway.
