Hi Gate13Boy. Yes i've complained before about the fact that the thread gets removed. Surely the offending post/s should be the only ones, otherwise what's the point. I've seen a certain poster on UKOG and other tinpot shares who always upsets others and all the subsequent posts are removed. Pointless getting involved really.

The coment re: David Miliband.

I know exactly where he went and I guess it was a good move (understatement) but don't most people move jobs/careers to benefit themselves and their family ? My comment was that I think (my opinion only) that he would have made the Labour Party electable, not that I mind, don't vote for them anyway. Corbyn's never going to do that ! that's all.

Boris, it seems to me would be likened to a Trump vote i.e the people that feel they are left behind and leaving the EU would recify that...as if !
The only thing that saves us from Labour is Corbyn. If things worked out differently David Miliband instead of his brother (saved by the Union vote) would have been the Labour leader and just may have been PM.
Even as a Conservative voter, I think he would have been worth voting for.
I doubt he would have a front bench consisting of Diane Abbott - Shadow Home Sec, Angel Rayner Sec of State for Education(left school pregnant at 15 with no qualifcations) good God.

Jamesroo, looks like BoJo. 114 votes today, first vote I know, could change but looks likely he may win. Not sure it's a good or bad thing. I think he is hoping to gather votes from the Brexiters if there is a General Election, which some in the media are implying or guessing!
Brexit is not a good thing in my opinion but a Govt headed up by Corbyn would be a nightmare.

Are we going to stop taxing carbon and dump the minimum wage? No we can't , I just hope that the countries producing far more emissions than we could ever do are going to step up and do the same. Cheap steel has been ruinous to businesses like ours which produce quality goods, customers would rather take the cheap option and replace more often, shortsighted, but the way of the global business world.

Yes, the referendum made it such. Did anyone think we could leave without a deal to trade with the rest of the EU without financial consequences ? I'm sure some did and didn't care.

We're in business and it would be like us saying for example, OK we have 1000 really good customers whom we've traded with for the past 40 years or so.
Overnight, we have to renegotiate terms with our customers (impossible) and at the same time find another 1000 customers to keep our business going. You'd have to say that would be pretty difficult. Perhaps a simplistic analogy but it works for me.

We will come out and I really hope I'm wrong.

By constituency 406 leave/ 242 remain. The MP's should honour what their constituents voted for, otherwise what's the point of democracy ?
Cameron should never have given such a binary vote to the people without anyone knowing the full consequences (not even the Government)
I voted remain (flak jacket and tin hat on) but still believe that the MPs should carry out the wishes of their constituents who voted them into power.
