The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
An RNS tomorrow confirming all remaining September milestones are complete would be perfectly reasonable.
Yep, bit like your own attention seeking Mitch. Something is drawing you to this bulletin board
Agree Snowy and Mr T. As a Project Manager nothing gives more confidence to stakeholders than publishing a detailed milestone plan and updating regularly when key milestones are ticked off. The challenge is when some are out of your control, such as EU Grant, and my assumption is that none of the others are dependent on that? as I am sure Vitol are also fully aware this can’t be a dependency for project to remain on Track for FID at year end.
Thanks Soud, I’m easily excitable.. so my wife tells me
The LSE app is suggesting 2 new RNSs today, yet only one .. is one due tomorrow ?
That’s why I like the last RNS and the detailed milestone plan (albeit some significantly bigger than others), it’s now become fairly binary, tick all these milestones off as per plan and we are cooking by gas !!
3 x 3 million sells later ?
I assume some are market makers .. and perhaps more than we know. I guess if people had invested short term and need the cash. Doesn’t seem any reason why you would sell £4K worth of shares today, but difficult to second guess as everyone’s situation is different
I agree with Tango, it was a status report and fairly positive (which in itself is not going to move the needle) but for me including measurable milestones makes any subsequent RNS's milestones focussed and I would suggest will start to move the SP in the right direction.
Agree Snowman - the benefit of having a set of hard milestones is that you are putting your money where your mouth is .. there is no wriggle room and I would expect subsequent RNS's to be just ticking these off
Speedy - will be breaking out the babycham if it is indeed a Green Xmas
does seem MMs still desperate to keep the SP down
Really positive RNS and good that JW has put out a number of clear and measurable milestones over a relatively short time frame. I didn’t pay my £1 to read the whole times article .. but do remember a few years ago INFA was the Times AIM one to watch. Come on JW bring it home !!!
Good point well made Dawski ??
Based on snowman’s earlier predictions SP should be going through the roof on Monday
GLA
Exactly .. you can’t argue that you believe the bar that DAERA has set is incorrect .. only that they haven’t applied the process and measured against agreed criteria .. goalpost can’t be moved .. and fully appreciating that Leesadee and fellow protestors will have ample opportunity to put their case
No, it hasn’t started yet.
Unless the update RNS is going to chalk off a key milestones Offtake Term Letter converted to IGA, Equity Funding, New Chairman, Marine Licence Public consultation period started, or anything else material then I would suggest there is no point in issuing an update just for the sake of an update, as it will just nudge the SP further down. IMO.
Agreed Mr T, I have asked protestors a couple of times on twitter and this board if they would be happy to place reliance on the strict regulatory compliance required by DAERA, as it’s really quite binary, INFA will tick the boxes or they won’t. The goalposts won’t be moved. Strangely haven’t really had an answer
Indeed you are right Mr Triumph, they went through Nex. I'm now over 17m and taking a battering ... hope its just a case of weathering the storm !
