Correct son, you made a profit on the shares you sold, so you pay the CGT. What you could do is sell the ones that you hold now and buy them back after 4 weeks hopefully at the same price and crystallise a loss to set against something else that you might sell in the future at a profit. You must realise the loss first even if the disposal with profit and disposal with loss are in the same year. So giddy up son and fork out and stop moaning at least you made a profit on something due to your un rivalled intelligence. Bye

This is a real gamblers share and the postings here are reflective of that. One says insider trading another says not, one says it will go up and other says down. One thing that has happened over the past since Thursday is that there are many posters here and that does give a message of some sort. This is for gamblers and it's true a gambler never wins ! Never !

Even the most enlightened of us here do not know the facts. We are here by chance, invested in oil ended up in pharma with the same hope and aspiration to make money. So for me I detest the no hopers who post useless predictions about ifs and ands and buts and the like and then hold themselves out to be right because of over grown but empty self confidence. For me it's a case of you are as good as your last job because CF et al made a dogs dinner of Fastnet Oil & Gas and they too in my eyes and humble opinion are gamblers looking for the next hit. I for one remember the Élan story when it rocketed from about 50c to €40 and then something happened and it ended up back at 50c. I have no opinion or idea what will happen here but if it does happen it in my humble opinion will be two years or more from now. It may well be the o interests that save the day here.

There is no doubt but that many of the posts here are hopeful rubbish, lacking fact, based on misguided opinion, made out of investment and factual ignorance and irresponsible What is here is a bunch of ill informed gamblers waiting for but the effluction of time to make them rich. Alas they will be replaced by others in time.
