Everyone has an opinion or a view, all at this time equally correct regarding FAST. All are taking a gamble this might work it may not but this is a gamble for all of us including CF and HS and the other esteemed members of the board. We might win on this gamble or we may not, time only will tell. For me shares are a gamble because as a small investor I do not have the information, big computers, highly trained staff or vital intelligence. It is my last gamble. I did not set out to invest in a pharma business. I set out to invest in the oil and gas sector, there is nothing in common for the most part in between these two sectors. We the small investors provide the fodder for the well informed and that is how this game works. So I am here by fate, karma or whatever, maybe luck but not by a proper investment strategy. I have many shares here now even after consolidation. I will not gamble again and I hope I have the disipline to see that through as a gambler never wins and that's for sure.

what I do not understand is this: If the shares in issue today are the same as the shares to be in issue after the rto, why do folk think that those shares will go up on the day the rto is confirmed. Why do they not go up today ? Is it that there is a chance the rto may not happen? Or what ?

i am happy that I and wexy smoked out CFS and HS by our realistic commentary, it might be working but we shall see when the placing terms are put to us. Hello son, You ask a very good question so let me explain. I was a young novice susceptible investor once upon a time. In that time I lost money and made less than I lost. I have learned that there are rooms of smart guys with very powerful computers that control shares like this. Their computers predict with certainty the way a stock will behave long before we wake up in the morning. They control shares like this We have young men and women with children reading these boards and to post predictions about the share rising to multiples of what it is today is at best very irresponsible. It encourages folk who should not do to invest money they do not have. Neither you or I know if this will succeed, sure HS was good at his last job. He is as good as his last job but like you and me he will not have the same fire in his belly as he had 20 years ago. CF made a huge mistake with Fastnet Oil & Gas and as far as urban concerned he is as good as his last job too. When there is some concrete and verifiable indication of progress then it may be time to predict but to do so now is encouraging gambling and I cannot stand that. Mr Average, No I will not concede it was a stinking good buy. Also I did not indicate that it will flop but there is no doubt that it could, Fast reached ale el of circa 26p and within 6 months it was to around 2p, now that was a flop and at the top we have the same management as then. Also what does C Friel know about pharma. He was lucky with Cove and if you gamble that he could be lucky again, he might be but also maybe not. One way or another that is gambling and a gambler never wins. Your are either a gambler or an investor bit never both at the same time. Also some of the posts here have been downright wreckless to say the least, wildly wrong and completely without foundation. They have also need fodder for the gambling instinct that we all have and could cost new and inexperienced sons a lot of hard earned money., I have no more to add, son.

The answer is: He has no clue. At least the weatherman gets it right sometime but birdy, kums and Mr average just like to see their waffle on here hence numerous ridiculous posts almost every day from Tom, Dick and Harry.

To see so much unfounded optimism here backed up by nothing apart from the gamblers instinct. New and inexperienced investors beware of the pitfalls.
