Ramp driven spike now re-traced9 Jun 2026 16:56
The price has now re-traced back to the same level as it was in mid-January - prior to the IPO and all of the substantial ramping, subsequent good news and ‘’promotional’’ interviews given by RP. So yes, this is clearly a bit of a “I told you so” moment — but the wider point is more important.
Hopefully it makes people a little more cautious about accepting everything posted by the RC on a bulletin board. Particularly when those voices repeatedly appear across multiple boards with the same recycled pattern:
“dead certs”, “unicorns”, “massive re-rates”, “50 baggers”, “100 baggers”, “I’ve loaded up”, “fill your boots” etc, etc, etc.
If a poster has a habit of making bold unsubstantiated claims across numerous companies, constantly predicting imminent transformational rises, and repeatedly announcing their own purchases, it is worth asking what their real motivation is. And, as I illustrated recently with a post about Buzz, just how accurate have their ramps turned out to be?
A particularly obvious red flag is the self-proclaimed “long-term holder” who posts relentlessly — has to average down and then mysteriously disappears from the board the moment the share price rises.
The sensible approach is to consider both sides. Positive arguments matter, but so do risks, uncertainties and uncomfortable questions.
In this case, the warning signs were there for anyone willing to look: missed timelines, over-optimistic expectations, inter-related deal structures, deals structured around shares tripling in value, and other repeated claims that failed to materialise. Some of us highlighted those concerns — and, as usual, the response was ridicule, personal attacks and attempts to silence debate.
Healthy discussion requires more than cheerleading. Investors should listen to anyone prepared to challenge the consensus — especially when they support their views with verifiable facts rather than child-like emojis.
Anyway, that’s my tuppence worth. I apologise to those who I am ‘’teaching to suck eggs’’ - hopefully some might find it helpful. I’ll expect to see a lot of green (filtered) posts appearing anytime soon. LOL.
As always, my posts are IMHO only — opinion, not advice.
