Strand Hanson has been brought in to negotiate a Sale of the Block? Realistically after the Legal wrangle between Panandean and GNPC and the fact it is the aim of GNPC to become a Leading operator in Ghana, could they realistically work together ?

If they released 50% and retained 10% as a free carry, i wonder what it would be worth right now to say "BP" as it has been mentioned that some of the bids have included more than one Block. Now BP and GNPC does have a ring of success about it.

Who the heck would bid on an area with Panadean claiming Legal rights,unless they were invited to?? Each company had to pay $10,000 in order to be considered!

It reminds me greatly of buying a house with a sitting tenant. Nothing to stop you buying the house, but the tenant has the right to stay according to the original agreement.

CLON is a sitting tenant and has no intention of being pushed out.

If PanAndean have hung on to 60% of this Block it's been worth the wait!!

The word MASSIVE comes to mind!

If the combined Group (Pan Andean) now accounts for 60% of the Block.How much have GNPC retained as part of the Legal Action settlement and who is the J/V with and what will be the final division percentages. I still plump for a third each!

At least it's not just CLON who are waiting as the Majors are as well.
