Bodes well for PFC when it rebounds.

I had a Prius Plugin for 7 years before my Tesla. A great car, very economical, reliable and smooth. But slow.

A Tesla is in a completely different league. 2-3 times as economical, and performance that beats most high performance cars. 0-60 3.2 seconds, 160 mph top speed. Autopilot. 250kw max charging, You Tube, Netflix, Spotify, Heats car immediately in winter .......

Oh and the Prius suffer from a plague of catalytic converters being stolen. I had to delay my Tesla purchase for 3 months whilst I waited for a new one from Japan.

Toyota say Hybrids are the future. So they are in a rude awakening. They would take years to catch up with Tesla. And there are not even trying.

Just look at what they would have to develop..

Lithium Ion batteries cheap enough to make cars profitably
Full self driving cars - Tesla is almost there. A year or two yet - but they have there own AI Chip using cheap cameras no expensive lidar

I see HL, Barclays, Interactive Investor all have different prices. But if you look at them later they seems to match what you see here. I think one or more use the lower bid price though.

I think the SFO is a big drag on this share.

Oil prices will recover once the lockdown eases and Saudi stops thinking they can control the market by dumping oil.

But I can't see this Covid thing going away until the Government realises the economic suicide isn't worth it.

Didn't the VSA article recently say BCN had 80% funding already, 150M Loan, 26m Hanwa, 45M in bank, Ganfeng have to pay 30% or something for their shares of Sonora.

This will fly later this year when the Ganfeng EPC comes out and construction is commissioned.

Ganfeng are supplying VW, Telsa ....... They want this as the soft rock is 5 days from ground to Lithium and hugely cost competitive. They have no reason not to progress this. M&G increased their stake - do you think they would be selling out for 34p? Also this is a huge deposit, easily extracted. 200 year mine. NO reason they cant just keep expanding to supply the market far beyond the current plans 17.5, 35, 50 tonnes per year already mentioned. No reason it can't go higher - the lithium is there. Once they are in production loans for expansion will be much easier to obtain.

Seems to me some people trying to talk this share down.

I'm not willing to sell fro 34p.

Yeh. I thought so too. I filled up my Pension and ISA with BCN too.

I have an EV. For me what would be better is Charging stations. For instance I live in Barnet, London. They are installing Lamp Post charging at up to 5KW hr. And 34p a KWhr . That makes it about equivalent to 30-40mpg car. At home I charge for 13p KW because I have a 1st Generation smart meter that other suppliers can't read so I can't go for an overnight tariff rate of 5-8p Kw - Which would equate to 200mpg.

So a lot of the charge infrastructure is charging 2-3 times normal electricity rates even though as big consumers they probably get lower rates than I do at home.

So for people who can't charge on cheaper rates, that is don't have off street parking with electric supply, will not find going electric worth while. Having said that I mostly use the Polar plus network 7kw chargers at the local Leisure center. That have a£7.85 monthly subscription which gives you cheaper rates - 12p kw on 7kw chargers, 18p kw on 50kw chargers, and 20p kw on 150kw chargers which are as rare as Hens teeth. And you will find some Tescos , Sainburys and Waitroses with free 7kw chargers.

And the best bit Electric cars are brilliant to drive.

I found the way they describe it as "Natural Gas" a bit strange at first. But the original gas was called "Town Gas" and was produced by burning coal. Then we got North sea Oil, and "Natural Gas" from these wells.

Read up on it. Somewhere in England they are pumping it into the local network at a 20% rate to the normal gas. Apparently gas boilers and cookers can run on it with minor changes to the design. I think it was some campus site in the north of england. Some links to various projects and reviews.

Hydrogen. From what I've read if you can't store surplus renewable energy then you could use it to create hydrogen and pump it into the Mains gas pipes so it can be used for heating/cooking and then the new Combined heat and power fuel cells they would like us to have rather than Gas boilers. My only question is how much surplus renewable will will have that we can't store in batteries.

As far as cars are concerned batteries are easily charged everywhere and are more efficient so no need for Hydrogen cars. Planes maybe? Trains maybe?

In this Peter says project development decision end of first half -> project development second half. So the Ganfeng review end of Q4 2020 looks like 6 month delay.

As previously announced, the schedule remains under regular review but completion of Ganfeng’s review
and testwork is now scheduled for end of Q4 2020

I thought this was supposed to be early Q3 2020 (July-Sept?) - Has it been delayed yet again?

We are currently speaking with Bacanora to hopefully set one up soon.
