They might but Ganfeng have stakes in Lithuim Americas and Bacanora. I think they may have missed their opportunity for these two.

I think the Subsidies in Germany, France, Norway means they are much closer to ICE car prices if not below.

For UK private buyers no so much. But for those who can have one as a company car they are better off. I used to run a plugin as a company car and the the BIK was 5% vs 20-30% for petrol and diesel. I think the rates now are even less for UK company car drivers.

I think all the directors and major shareholders want this to get of the ground and increase the share price. No of us or them are in this for any other reason than to get it producing, making an profit, and seeing the share price rise to the NPV of 1.25 Billion. The upside is just too good to want it to carry on with endless reports and no action.

Ganfeng have not bought in for it not to produce Lithium they have contracts to supply. Hanwa likewise. M&G did not double their shareholding to see it stagnate.

You and I are not here to see it stagnate. So seems like idle hands talking things down. I prefer to be glass half full , optimistic. I would say give it 6 months to Q4 2020. But its now 5.5 months. You could always sell up and buy Tesla if you haven't already missed the boat.

I've been in BCN for many years. The delays are frustrating. Not sure what price this will ever achieve and whether it will have been worth it. But sometimes shares just trickle along not doing much, losing value. then as soon as you sell they Rocket, Ceres, ITM Power, Tesla. all gone up multiple times this year. But looking at the charts spent years going no where.

Looking on the bright side its a bankable project with lots of interest from Ganfeng, M&G, Hanwa.... And even Ganfeng need the Lithium this project will bring to market. They have lots of customers for it and Lithium Americas alone will not provide all they need.

Still very optimistic this will come good within 12 months. Hopefully closer to their more recent pronouncement of Xmas.
