I live in a flat so heat pumps are not really an option. But my boiler is coming to the end of its life and I was thinking of replacing it the next time it goes wrong instead of having it repaired yet again. So not sure what I should do about that.

If you look at the last Bcn statement of accounts there were lots of options issued to the major shareholders and employees for 80, 88 and 90p a share.

This has a long way to go for those options to be cost effective to be exercised.

I got into this share around 2015 after an article in Moneyweek.

Isn't their cost of production several times that projected for BCN?

BCN is on a par with the cheapest production in the world.

I think it needs those Money and Investment Magazines to do some articles to bring this to wider attention for investors. Like Moneyweek, ....

When they did 1.25 billion Ganfeng already owned 22.5 % of SLL.

If BCN had a NPV of 1.2 Billion - but has now sold another 27.5% of SLL does this now mean it has a NPV of 870Million?

Still 10x current Market Cap.

I wonder whether Ganfeng will increase its stake in Bcn back to 29.9%. And will then M&G then increase its stake back up to 19.9. Would end up being repeated ad infinitum unless they do at same time. Of course if they do the funds available for build will be bigger, and a 50k mine may be funded?

Btw if Ganfeng have 50 % of SLL and 25.83% of BCN they effectively take 50 % + 12.915% = 62.915% of SLL profits.

Which is not a problem as if the Price Target of 114P is reached the other shareholders benefit as much as if the shares were held by many smaller shareholders. Anyway point being they don't need to take over the entire company in order to gain most of the profits.

All interesting to watch over the next two months. But either way I think we should start to see a reasonable valuation on our investments.

Ganfeng increasing their stake should see a steady rise in SP up to the EPC expected in Q4 2020. Then bang it should really jump.

But you really can't buy this - only small amounts available after many re-quotes.

I think batteries in homes is good idea. However grid scale battery on the back of renewables might best economically.

I for one have no roof for solar, or batteries at home.

Also Tesla Megapack is better bang for money and cheaper to install than installing in every ones home.

Still a case for some - mainly rich with bigger homes.

Vsa has 114p now. So something way north of that.

I notice that Zinwald should now reflected in the BCN Share price - whereas before nothing of BCN share price was attributable to Zinwald before its sale to Erris. So may be something good has come of the the Zinwald diversion.
