Hanwa said they were willing to invest another $25 Million for the build phase. I assume that will be a stock issue and not a loan. Slight dilution for existing shareholders. But will be more than covered by the resulting share price rise.

Interesting and exciting times to see this on a steady upwards rise towards the target price. And anticipation of more news on EPC plan from Ganfeng, and financing.

Certainly not the time to sell or cash in as this one has legs.

Well it worked the knocked it back from 45p to 40p. 10% for whoever dusted off this story and got people looking into yet again this year.

Just like all the short sellers in Tesla. Which I believe is up about 6 times in a year. Wish I hadn't reduced my stake in that.

Holdings for dividends? I'm expecting major upshift in sp to 118p at least. That's just the first target.

Ist stage 17.5k Tonnes - Second stage then needs funding to 35k tonnes. It has the resource to go further than that say 50k has been mentioned. With an 8.1mt resource already drilled for for the feasibility study and far greater area not yet drilled this could go a lot higher. We don't want an orphaned asset like Oil. It would be best to get as much out to feed the demand. A 200 year mine is not the best use. Lithium may be replaced by something else in 50 years - and I am not going to be here that long.

Anyway I will see re-investment in greater capacity should see a corresponding increase in share price. Just look at Tesla . Its investing in extra capacity not dividends - and aims to keep doing so till 2030 onwards.

M&G and Ganfeng I'm sure have done their due diligence.

From what I've posted Sonora is the only current feasible lithium mine.

Nationalization would be terribly harmful to any future external investments in Mexico as it has many other mining activities. The Mining Unions are against Nationalisation.

It would seem to be an ill thought out proposal by left wing just as Corbyns idea was to nationalise everything in the UK.

I'm staying invested.

The BNAMericas Article basically states Nationalization would kill the Lithium Industry in Mexico. Needs expertise and finance to deliver Sonora. Other known Lithium deposits in Mexico have impurities and low concentrations (ppm)

Legal challenges

Any changes to the law are unlikely to affect current concessions such as those that comprise the Sonora project, which are protected under Mexican law.

Bacanora therefore remains on schedule to commence initial site works at Sonora in 2021, subject to completion of financing, which would enable commencement of production at the plant in 2023. This timeframe coincides well with the anticipated increase in lithium demand from European, Asian and US electric vehicle manufacturers expected that year.

I think clarification is needed as we had been told EPC by end Q4 2020 and site works in early 2021, But the RNS doesn't mention a time line for the EPC. But does say 'on schedule' and site works 2021. So it does sound like a delay.

Thec 112, 114 and 118 are VSA increasing their target price I think.

Whatever. We have continual but slow progress since Ganfeng first took a stake in 2018. Ganfeng, M&G then Ganfeng again have put money and resources into this. EPC is still expected by end of Q4 2020. There no reason not to expect financing hasn't already been prepared.

Big news expected, followed by even bigger news. So I would expect those who have been following this, or do their research, will be wanting to top up.

Price target is 118p. And pre 2018 this was trading in a range of 80-100p.

I'm just going to hold on to my shares as long as I can. I have enough invested here so wont be adding to my holding.

But this is going in the right direction. I think we are seeing the light at the end of a very long tunnel.

There were about five buys for 5000 shares and another five buys did 1000 shares

I've always thought where are they getting the water from in a desert. Never really looked like it was environmentally safe. But on the other hand not an area full of ecological diversity or people.

One could say this is good for BCN but really I don't think it will make any difference as the world needs all the Lithium we can extract from Brines, Clays, and Hard rock.

Only good point is it makes BCN even more cost competitive. However producing at $4,000 per tonne and selling at $11,000 - $14,000 a tonne is a profit margin very few industries could hope for.
