I've always thought where are they getting the water from in a desert. Never really looked like it was environmentally safe. But on the other hand not an area full of ecological diversity or people.
One could say this is good for BCN but really I don't think it will make any difference as the world needs all the Lithium we can extract from Brines, Clays, and Hard rock.
Only good point is it makes BCN even more cost competitive. However producing at $4,000 per tonne and selling at $11,000 - $14,000 a tonne is a profit margin very few industries could hope for.
