I am by nature a worrier, this has also been pointed out to me by various members here. Notwithstanding I am worried, why is this share plummeting towards the Slough of Despond? Could we all be misguided by our speculation, clouded by our collective euphoria, hoisted by our own petard, put simply could we be wrong in assumptions made, forecasts that are unrealistic. Could we be staring at the abyss of 12p, drifting along aimlessly in our own Sargasso sea. My opinion only, sometimes needed to temper our tribal euphoria.

Hydro/JD1972....spot on POG correction and MM wanting to drive SP lower in readiness for uplift upon good news forthcoming from NCM pressie on Thursday.
My forecast is a conservative rise to 15.2p as seen before then correction then kick on to 5p per 1M Oz predicted extraction to 4.4m AU Oz from Hav....22p NICELY does it

Hi NigeW good to see you posting your advice on GGP board, both you and TMT were a formidable duo on PSN and gave me invaluable insights of company key indicators and they underpinned a successful basis for a company. Since the debacle of the cancelled dividends in the housebuilding sector I moved most of my investment here with no regrets only the odd 'twitch' here and there as some notable poster puts it!

Hi Hopefullygold fair point again well made I did have itchy feet as you stated, but I needed some reassurance which I received from the posters on this board and have regained resolve to see this through, or as Paddygall says 'sit on your hands'. I difficult skill to learn I admit but will endeavour to do so. I am somewhat heavily invested in GGP as I sold my housebuilders shares once they cancelled a hefty dividend 5 days before payment so feel somewhat exposed from time to time. Investing in companies takes a certain type of person, not for the faint hearted I know or else you would stick your hard earned money into banks / building societies paying 0.0001% ! But quite frankly sometimes one needs reassurance from fellow investors.

Every one seems to be upbeat about GPP which is good and somewhat refreshing of a weekend I shall toast you all with a pleasant Chateauneuf du pape 2018, not the best year I understand, but at least I know the difference between white and red (aka who was it? The name escapes me. . ...another fellow Aussie I believe!

With GH selling together with prim selling and Marlborough repositioning and mixed messages coming from others it is slightly concerning, but this happens whatever market sector and share you are in. It can and does spook private investors. This share us certainly a roller coaster ride and we are just on the big dipper, the one where your stomach goes terribly funny , only to recover after disgorging it's contents and then reaching the top where all in front can be seen in a beautiful vista.

I salute the LTHs on this board for their fortitude and patience and deep held belief that GGP eventually would come good. I came late to the party 7.95p was my opening purchase followed by tranches at 8.2,9.6,10 and even 11p. However I became frustrated by the 'stagnation' of the SP as I termed it despite all positive key indicators and was duly pilloried for my troubles. My personal investment strategy is no different to anyone else on this board quite frankly it is to make a profit however one can. If I believe the ROI on my investment is lacking I will deinvest and reinvest as appropriate. That is what I did with many of my GGP shares and invested in other up and coming gold explorers within the Paterson and Pilbara regions some actually neighbouring GGP tenements.
As the GGP share has not grown as members forecasted, my investment in said embryonic companies has indeed risen to give a satisfactory ROI.
I believe that the exponential growth in the SP is at the very early stage for these gold/mineral explorers and is based on sentiment only and not hard facts and results.
I have acknowledged that I missed the party early doors but have learnt that in this perfect storm of failing world economies, QE, POG etc other similar opportunities exist.
Could this be why the LTH who bought GGP at sub 1-3p based their personal investment strategy.

Exasperating, thats what it is oh well, I'm selling off and researching other companies in this sector for possible opportunities. I've made more money than I ever would've working for a living i am no at an age whereby I need enjoy my good fortune now. I've enjoyed it on this board, most informative it has been and will put me

Morning folks hope you are well, may I introduce a bit of levity to wile away the days whilst we await forthcoming results with bated breath. Popular songs come and go with some having meaningless lyrics and worse still irritating tunes, however some lyrics in past songs remind you of good times and bad and can be somewhat therapeutic. I'm having such a time now awaiting the results from GGP , 2 songs from the same band sum my feelings well;
' I don't need this pressure on'

Aurora1 I take that as an insult my friend if you check my postings you will see that I am no such person but I am realist and need to determine, as indeed we all have to, to make our hard earned cash work for us rather than depositing in the banks etc. I am just trying to make money for my family's future, I fail to see why you should criticise me for trying to do this

Zoros , Schlemiel, Stuart , fair comments I take on board what you say, especially Zoros who believes the SP is 'vastly overrated' therefore I may consider to reallocate my current holding in GGP into other gold explorers around the world chasing the dream, who are trading at far less mcap than GGP and thereby the opportunity to get a better ROCE is the way to go reflecting quite frankly how GGP started their evolution.

I have learnt so much on this forum from fellow members who impart their knowledge, and in some cases professional expertise which I am most grateful for. I am,I believe quite frankly good at determining the wheat from the chaff as they say, enhancing my personal knowledge to make rational decisions on whether to hold, buy or indeed sell my GGP shares. From what I have assimilated I believe that on the whole this share will indeed grow, how much, I cannot honestly say, but what puzzles me is with all the positive indicators and the positive outlooks by fellow members why is this share still languishing in the 12-13p range for the last few weeks whilst other gold explorers nowhere as good as GGP have reported growth of 9%-34.5% within the last week or so?

Ok it's in my dreams until it becomes reality at until SP reaches 19.2p in my situation only my fellow holders. I feel that my contribution to this board is one of levity, to brighten up the day when things are not as what we all would expect. This board has all the technocrats, diplomats, realists, optimists, pessimists that allow us all to function in the common goal of making money and becoming wealthy and achieving our own personal goals , whatever they may be,...oh dear another schooner of sherry is required.

Tig excellent you are nominated person I will just check the small print in my T&C's to see what beverages are indeed offered at the 19p and 28p SP levels should they of course be attained in the timeframe aforementioned .

@Mickey thanks .....I've had a rethink with what I have invested I will make a further pledge.....as I believe the 28p is quite frankly unobtainable within the time frame, hence the new pledge is 1st drink paid for if SP gets to 19p on the morn of the AGM, a 2nd drink is offered however if SP reaches 28p. Helicopter ride is offered at 74p!!!!

Although distance prevents me from attending above inaugural AGM . I make a pledge....if SP reaches 28p by the morn of the meeting I shall buy each attendee a drink (subject to T&C's of course). I will wire Xfer funds to nominated person
